I really appreciate the courtesy and professionalism you've displayed responding to us hardcore T'Challa and BP mythos fans here and over at hef. It is a demonstration of genuine enthusiasm for the character that a true professional has. Even if you might not have been a fan of BP (which I doubt), your care for your craftsmanship certainly carries over to the character at least as far as everything I've seen you show and write. Thank you.
I had a lot of plans for the panther comic if they'd given it to me. Just as big in scope and, in some ways more controversial than what Coates has done. But we can't always get what we want. I like the book for what it is. Can't hate on somebody else's vision unless the vision is hateful. Coates isn't trying to hurt anybody. he's telling the story he wants to tell, just as I would have done. and I promise you some body would have been PISSED as hell with my version too.
but I do love the panther both pre and post Priest. I don't think it's hard to write such characters at all.
Now, ask me to write Magneto and we might have some trouble.
you guys are going to LOVE this show. we put the pedal down and it never comes up until the last scene of the season.
if my contracts didn't prevent me from giving details I'd blow some of the awesome now. just trust me. this season is a mic drop.
See and this is why you will always be my #1 pick as the next BP writer going forward. Pair you up with a A List artist and watch as yall go to work

Honestly I can't recall the last BP solo book where people weren't pissed off at it for one reason or another, apart from Rise maybe.

Don't get me wrong. I am ultra picky and have found fault with every run. But I am still a BP fan. Just am not buying current run.
I used to work as a sculpter for a company that did various products from WB to Disney. I can't and could never stand Tweety Bird. But Tweetie was hot and 20 years later I could still do a pretty good Tweetie if I had to. Point is, I didn't do a poor job on Tweetie so I could do a great job on Mickey. I did a great job on Tweetie so I could do an even greater job on Mickey. I respected myself and my profession enough to always bring it.
I respect and admire that quality in others when I see it. Especially when that individual opens themselves up to criticism with such gracious humility. Again, thank you.

I wish Klaw came off that formitable in the comics.
Have to say my favorite moment from that clip is a subtle one - it's when he blends into the shadows.
I've been on record saying I wanted some shadow blending stuff ala Ninja Assassin for T'challa.

I've also been on record clamoring for the days T'challa's warrior part would get played up instead of constantly being political/noble/"wise"/science dude

To me, it is just refreshing to have a creator talk positively about T'challa and the mythos for once.

I would be done for a BP centric anime if his rogues were portrayed this way. Klaw seemed like a legit threat and dangerous, but when are people going to realize that Tchalla had more then claws and H2h. When are we going to see the Daggers that EMH showcased? In also okay with the Force push showing up as well because it looks badass on the mcu side. I imagine it will look just as great on animation side if they put effort into the art

We have Moongirl who is smarter then Reed. We now have comic Shuri who will be smarter.

Avengers 5 finally got moving, was actually pretty cool issue.
T'challa got a feat out of it as well

Did that interview say she was "top 1 smart"?
I didn't see it anywhere

I'm fine with Shuri being smarter, but I hope they don't flat out say she's suddenly the smartest person on earth. Right now it's Moon Girls thing... let her have it.

My reaction to Gentles' part in Xmen Red requires a GIF but it's not working. Pretend like you can see one of something being thrown.
And Storm...Storm just stood there. Lol
