Is it logical to assume that T'Challa becomes the next most important character in the MCU after Stark given the film's immense success? Maybe with Strange and Danvers alongside him?
We haven't seen Carol yet... but at this point saying T'Challa is the most important person is probably a safe conclusion. He's got the resources and influence to really make the biggest impact.

Where the freakin' hell has Okoye been? All the expansion of the Dora and I don't think we've seen her once since Priest!
Cap and Tony does punching each other in the face..
after SW they were good again. That isn't even an excuse. Namor should of been killed, then Tchalla brings everyone back and they squash the beef that way
I think the point was for them to squash their beef WITHOUT them killing each other. Yes, they can try and kill each other and their people can try to kill each other but the point was they were able to squash their issues and work together rather than placing their own agenda above the bigger picture. The point being they learned a lesson from their past mistakes, rather than deciding to keep making them.
Tony and Steve on the flip side learned absolutely nothing... and that's why the conclusion to their story was so unsatisfying. It simply just ended.

Your right squashing the beef off panel in a 3 week time skip was soo much better....

With the galactic empire spanning the multiverse, this would be a great time to bring in alternate universe versions of Okoye and Nakia that resemble their MCu counterparts like what they’re doing with Valkyrie. But....... Coates.

I've seen some talk online about Black Panther "underperforming" overseas. This is frankly just silly, and is just people comparing its overseas numbers to its domestic, where it is overperforming. In case any of you end up in a discussion with someone espousing that nonsense, here's a little bit of data for you to use:
International Sans China (total with China)
Avengers: $809,155,078 ($895,455,078)
Age of Ultron: $706,287,826 ($946,397,826)
Iron Man 3: $684,597,258 ($805,797,258)
Civil War: $564,425,629 ($745,220,146)
Black Panther: $450.1m ($516.6m) (estimates as of 03/11/2018)
Batman v Superman: $447,505,360 ($543,274,725)
Homecoming: $429,684,895 ($545,965,784)
Ragnarok: $426,605,304($538,831,458)
Suicide Squad: $421,746,840 (did not have run in China)
Deadpool: $420,042,270 (did not have run in China)
Days of Future Past: $397,451,241 ($513,941,241)
Guardians 2: $373,279,690 ($473,942,950)
Winter Soldier $338,877,695 ($454,497,695)
(Black Panther’s sans China numbers have beaten the international (with China) totals of all other MCU/X-men/DCEU films)

I don't disagree that we shouldn't have gotten see it on panel. But yes... what we got is better than what Steve and Tony got. We got to see T'Challa and Namor put aside their differences and work together in the story rather than ending it with them killing each other. To me that was horrible treatment of Steve and Tony.
I do think T'Challa and Namor should have gotten more panel time. A mini might have been nice. But in the least we got to see them grow up enough to put aside their differences and work together for the bigger picture. Tony and Steve did to after the fact... but again them just dying while trying to kill each other is a huge contrast from Namor and T'CHalla, who had more reason to want to see each other dead by that point but were still able to pull it together.

There hardly needs to be an alternate version of Okoye.... give the comic version a hair cut, and she's pretty close. She just needs to be used.

They do need to do some work on Nakia, though.
Would it have killed them to name Lupita Nyong'o's character...anything else that's not T'Challa's teen age stalker?

Another thing to note is that it just opened in China, it didn't need China to hit 1 billy, and these people are just reaching because they NEED something to be able to discredit Black panther. Even the 66 mill opening in China is only slightly behind Spidey HC opening and Spiderman is more known intenty

Naming her Nakia was certainly an interesting choice. Could be random. Could be a sort of homage to the firs set of Doras in Priests run. Or she may end up evolving more into the comic version down the line. We'll see.

Exactly. Hickman gave us at least that. My only Hickman gripe is the off panel stuff. T'challa did however beat namors ass once, Shuri destroyed Atlantis (UNDER HICKMAN), and T'challa punked Namor with Black bolt all but killing namor who was saved by Thanos and tortured afterwards with a life of villainy and murder. I'd say T'challa won. It doesn't always have to be all or nothing. Hell with Coats we are getting nothing at all.
-
My question is how will the reaction be once T'challa (and it's gonna happen) meets storm and falls for her. Will Nakia fans and women in general see T'challa negatively. It's gonna be some Empire Tv show level drama.

Probably so. We'll probably get some version of the new Avengers with Shuri becoming the top scientist in the MCU.

Nah because the beef squashing felt cheap and underserved, just some off comment like "oh hey we're friends again because reasons". At this point it's whatever and they can move on but let's not pretend that the ending to that conflict (Which was also a big ot point throughout the entire event) was handled well at all.
But I'm ready for them to have a Marvel's Monarchs title,
and re-establish all the Monarch in Marvel and have them handle threats
