Ah. That would be your opinion. Not fact.
No, it's just very straightforward facts. No one in their right mind would think magic space rocks and fighting racist oppression is equal in importance.

Damn it y'all BP needs $1.5M to reach $700M domestic. Come on y'all
was that really a thing?
Yes.
We got folks who are very SALTY about how well BP did.
So it's not a shock when you hear stuff like that.
I wouldn't be shocked if folks bought tickets and didn't go just to try to get that movie (among others) higher than Panther.
If Deadpool did better here than Panther-I can see that happening. A film like Solo-where you saw more ads for Gambino and a lot of folks still TICKED about Finn-who seems to be the only guy whose footage keeps getting cut & he's being left out of the comics unlike the other two. No I expect backlash.
I don’t think anybody views Bond as a tech genius though. And T’Challa is supposed to be that. One of the eight smartest in the Marvel Universe.
It actually also bothered me quite a bit that in the Nolan movies, he was so reliant on Lucius and they sidelined Bruce’s intelligence.
T'Challa is a genius though, he created his own microweave m it's just that Shuri is head of the Wakanda design group. Obviously he doesn't have the time to hang out in a lab all day and tinker. Plus it gave Shuri something to do other then be a wise cracking Kat Dennings like character from Thor

I didn't think Solo would touch BP or Deadpool. I knew Deadpool would do well just not like BP. It's already tearing it up in DVD and Blu Ray sales.

They said it's a fact that Shuri is the smartest one in the MCU. I got no problem with that.

Nah Man Solo bombed. It's numbers were about 20-25 mil lower then the low end expectations. It ain't touching BP.

You can't factually say one movie has more heart than another. It's a matter of opinion.

I'm okay with that too. Her being the smartest doesn't mean T'Challa isn't a super genius as well

So close.
If movie pass allowed you to see movies more than once, i'd go back even though I have it on blu ray
but, BP broke movie pass so what can you do

I can factually say Black panther has more heart then IW.
Black Panther Vol. 1 #2 - The Six-Million Year Man

I was hoping to discover that this title predates the Six Million Dollar Man, but, sadly, it does not. The story opens with a note that comic book fans are tame compared to the insatiable collectors - and we haven't even hit the 1990s yet! This is a very Jack Kirby opening with single splash followed by double splash. The two-page splash is partiuclarly dynamic with everyone thrown around in confusion while the creature just stands there like a statue. The creature has telepathic powers and "magnetic" powers, so T'Challa saves the day by blanking his mind of thoughts, getting close, and sucker punching the thing. Princess Zanda wants to kill it, but T'Challa concludes they need to find the other frog to return it to the future. T'Challa quickly realizes that Mr. Little is not dead after all and suggests that everyone has to team up.
We're treated to an impressive amount of Kirby Crackle and a vision of the future of mankind. Then the creature seems to waken again, so Mr. Little shoots him with a chemical that knocks him out for 24 hours. Then they all go on a rocket ship and their journey is to be continued.
Jack Kirby is not known for enjoying to revisit his past work and this is no exception. The story is fantastical and imaginative. What it is not is a Black Panther story. Although T'Challa is allowed a moment to save the day, Mr. Little seems to be the hero of the story. It also feels a bit thin and rushed and might be better to keep reading the next issue. Still, if the audience of the time had to wait a month (or two), I can wait another day.

This was a rough read for me. Like i'd read a page and go do something else and come back.
It isn't a BP story at all. It is Kirby drawing with Panther thrown in just because.
I guess the mind clearing thing is kinda a feat?
My biggest problem is that neither Little or Zanda are likeable and i don't know why T'challa is hanging otu with them other than a sentence about Azzuri. And he is "friends" with Little? Eh...
Black panther a better made movie then IW, Solo and Deadpool 2. All of them but Black Panther are just popcorn films with no heart.
I don't know why fans gotta tear down other movies to make their fav 'look' better. Deadpool 2 and IW had plenty of heart
Yeah, I think Black Panther has more substance to it, but that doesn't mean the other movies don't have substance.
