Wait, is that Ayo? Did she even speak in the BP movie?
Lol. Yeah, it's her. She had a couple lines. I think they did her do people can army build the Dora Milaje.
An MCU Shuri figure is coming in 2019 and we're also getting an MCU M'Baku (might be the BAF in Wave 2).
So what do you do with Daniel Kaluuya?
He's about to be a star in the near future and I'd hate to not use him to his full potential.
The deleted scene shows that his acting is just on another level.
So what do you do about W'Kabi? Do you make that character more integral in the sequel? Do you merge him with another villain? I think he would have been a great Achebe. Just watch a few scenes of him in that Widows trailer and you can see he has the potential for a great villain.
Redemption arc with T'challa. A mission somewhere where they have to team up.
Sacrifices himself for his king, Boromir style.
The End lol
It would have to be some kind of redemption arc. Maybe a scene or two was edited out, but he turned on T'challa way too fast, some best friend he was.

Cared about his blood more than his friend.
In W'kabi's eyes, T'challa didn't kill Klaw or bring him back like he promised. Sure, he didn't know the circumstances (T'challa didn't tell him) but form that point of view, his "best friend" lied and failed him.

yeah we knew this when the solicitations came out
Bad news if Acuna is already this far behind. Acuna is carryign the series.
I'm surprised W'Kabi kept both arms. I hope he stays during the sequel. BP has the best cast in the MCU.
I hope MCU BP evolves into Priest/Hudlin/Liss mode.
I think the events of Civil War and the BP film happened within a two week period.
What a helluva month for T'Challa.
My bad if anyone else already posted this.
The King is surrounded by such beautiful and capable women.

I think if W'Kabi comes back, he either needs to be redeemed by sacrificing his life for Wakanda (or T'CHalla), or he just need to go full on villain. In comics, this sort of thing can be swept under the rug, but I think for the movies the general audience will have a harder time buying this guy not spending the rest of his life behind bars even if he is repenent for his actions.
Course, Loki got forgiven (sort of) so you never know.

If you get A list artists, you get delays. That's just how it is. Or at least, how it is now.
Maybe it's just me wearing rose colored glasses, but I don't recall artists having this much trouble handling the monthly grind on books back in the day.

The beauty of the MCU is the evolution of characters. They start out in one place, but will grow during the course of several films.
I hope he lives, and evolves. It was pain from the past that dictated his actions. He Perhaps he'll lose an arm protecting his wife, or King. He has a new King, and a strong beautiful wife. The future should be a bright one. Killing W'Kabi would be a mistake.
Killing him was a mistake in the books.

I completely agree killing him in the book was a mistake. It was completely pointless, especially for the sake of building up a Spider-Man villain that hasn't been seen since. At least have Klaw or even Doom do the deed, so you can do something with the death. As a whole that arc was one of my favorites... but the unnecessarily slaughter of so many male BP characters was a very very questionable call in my opinion.
But as far as W'Kabi losing an arm... between Klaw and Buckly, that seems to be something the Wakandan mythos specializes in. So it's possible.

would that be the only reason for such a delay? would poor sales be the reason?
