I know of those things. I'm saying visually what will be be able to do that would make him a formidable hero.
We are talking about a big budget BP movie that would require the action to feel epic. Intelligence alone won't do the trick.
I'm just saying with characters like spider-man, iron man and thor are way to do action scenes because their abilities have been made clear to the audience but as for T'Challa, we haven't really seen much of him in proper motion of what he can do except in the cartoons and some times he gets is a** kicked due to him only using his daggers and nothing else

What are you basing this paragraph on? This is so confusing to me?
"Action to Feel Epic"... the action in TWS with Captain America was epic and T'challa has a similar power set. When did warrior ninjas have issues with action???
Daggers are causing him to get his ass kicked? where? you even said we haven't seen much of him in motion... where is this ass kicking taking place? And it's because of his daggers?
The last thing I think we are going to have to worry about is the action in his movie. It is a warrior nation and T'challa is its protector... I am much more worried about the villain, how smart they make tchalla, and Wakanda as a whole. At the very least this will be a good action movie because that is what Marvel does at the very least.

What I'm saying is that his skill set in the cartoon were mostly limited to him using his daggers and maybe a bit of strength. U need to watch all the episodes of Avengers emh, some episodes he didn't even get the chance to attack the villain.
My point is, T'Challa needs a DRASTIC addition to his skill sets and gadgets to make him more formidable but some of you on this thread keep saying that he is good the way he is and doesn't need anything. T'challa needs variety that are more diverse than the already existing ones he has

It's funny how I was checking out Priest's website blog where he posted a small article of how of all superheroes, they picked Ant Man before Black Panther.

The daggers could be cool, but I'd prefer them mostly as ranged weapons. I always thought they were a bit superfluous when he already has anti-metal claws.

The Anti-metal claws work well for close range attacks. He needs something that he can use to attack enemies from long distances.

The good ol' days.
It is funny how Star Lord & Kitty are an item despite having different fans bases & film studios.
The power of Bendis, I suppose.
Yeah.
I'm definitely getting that Batman vibe too.
Why Batman over say... MCU Cap?
I'd say Batman because I suspect he'll use tech and gear to supplement his fighting style. Course that's just a guess ... we'll see.

Honestly I think for the most part he stopped using the Anti-Malware claws after Priests run. Hudlin replaced it with the ebony blade though that didn't stick around.

What a weekend... Let me squeeze right on up in here real quick!
Priority #1 - Black Panther T'challa A-list!
If you think that any other agenda is more important than that then get back in the limbo and cancellation line that forms to the left!
You can have all the cousins, uncles and sidekicks you want but if none them equals Black Panther as A-list then it is all for naught!
Business is business and at some point this solo character needs to start paying his own bills first and stop the piggybacking!
Priority #2 - Significant Other/Love Interest!
If you can't seal that deal or at least have the option to tease that deal being sealed then you just blue balled black male consumers worldwide... Like it or not comic books have a masturbatory aspect that we don't like to openly talk about but it is there and it is not going away any time soon even in the "Politically Correct" era!
If T'challa is hanging around a woman or women that he cannot touch how is this any different from all those old Hollywood films where the black male lead is neutered and impotent?
A love interest moves the meta plot in ways that have already made money for every major male super hero from comics, cartoons, video games and movies... This is a no brainer so stop trying to reinvent the wheel and just change the tire when the tread gets too low for traction!
Since Storm is off the table by unanimous default then so is her daughter and any character that he cannot have "relations" with otherwise this is cheap manga with no real direction bordering on daytime talkshow antics!
This can include mothers too because really only Thor has a movie mother we don't see Steve's, Tony's, Natasha's, Clint's, Fury's or the guy playing video games on the SHIELD ship's mom at all... Mothers are an assumed component except for those egg hatched in a secret lab somewhere!
Princess Zonda... Malice... Substitute them for biological sisters, baby mama drama daughters and women that are not even high enough on the ratings scale to make this a true politically based drama!
Any woman that keeps T'challa at "street level" is also a waste of his time so either upgrade her or keep her off the table!
T'challahs relationships should stir the world nations not be a made for BET music video... That means no Monica Lynn either unless you want Rihanna all up in the Kool-aid just to sell the movie soundtrack more than the very movie itself!
Priority #3 - Rogues Gallery!
I mean what manner of person even thinks that "borrowing" other rogues galleries makes any business sense whatsoever for the borrower?
Andy Serkis as Klaw was a pure genius move and needs to be capitalized on like yesterday... If you do not have villains that could be considered for their own solo projects then your bad guys suck!
This still falls under the "reinventing the wheel" concept because the lack of confidence in Black Panther's villains is a glaring problem either out of fear of lagging sales, offending black folks with stereotyped villains like Man-Ape or just plain unimaginative!
You either want to sell toys or not... I can't believe the execs at Disney are allowing this travesty on their watch they must be slipping or have too many Fanbratti voices in their ears drowning out common sense!
Priority #4 - World War Wakanda!
The premise of Wakanda has never ever forever ever forever ever never been done in cinematic history!
There is nothing at DC or Dreamworks for that matter that FRAKS with the concept of Wakanda on any level so to avoid this magical kingdom just to hang out once again in New York City is playing it way to safe and extremely uncreative!
James Cameron's Avatar took rudimentary dialogue almost to 3 billion dollars at the box office with a rehash of Pocahantas and Dances With Wolves!
Wakanda is the African version of everything Disney ever dreamed of in make believe places so get some guts and give us the full tour with only the deep action parts we don't need to see the love tunnel unless... (See priority #2)
Priority #5 - Period!
FRAKKING define this character already it's been since 1966!
Powers... Skill Sets... This is a comic book character and this should have been done decades ago for the sake of cheap cosplay!
Heart shaped herb... King of The Dead... What does any of this mean as compared to bitten by a radioactive spider?
Baseball cards... UHM baseball cards... Er baseball cards... Duh baseball cards... Did I mention baseball cards? Lol
Black Panther... Significant Other/Love Interest... Rogues Gallery... Wakanda... Period!
Carry on...

More specifically because Bendis writes both books. If Hudlin were writing one of the X-men books at the time of the marriage I'll wager they would have gotten more play.
It'll be interesting to see if that relationship lasts now that Bendis will be off of part of the equation.

I have the whole thing on DVD man. I've watched every episode more than once. Do you have specific examples of his bad showings? The show mostly focused on "the big four" for obvious reasons but I remember T'challa having numerous good showings both based on his combat skill and his brain.
T'challa written how he should be (Priest Run, See Wakanda and Die, Liss Kingpin Arc, ect)... he doesn't need an upgrade.
Not every hero needs the ability to combat Thor level threats. But T'challa multiple types has fought and defeated villains who are up the "paygrade" strength wise. Black Dwarf comes to mind immediately as well the Super Skrulls.
BP's daggers function the same way as Caps shield (long range or close range attacks) or hawkeyes bow or DD baton things. Plus it is a completely unique look compared to everything else in the MCU so far.

It was Wright's pet project... that is the only reason it got started and hung around. In was in development for forever.
Strange and GoG are the two that got put ahead of Black Panther that are kind of weird. Both are Fiege's pets which one reason but T'challa's solo should have followed his Civil War appearance where Dr. Strange is at the latest. Puting it after the first Infinity War is really going to complicate things then.
