Good one.
Even then, they ten dto focus a ton on his radar sense more than anything else.
MCU or Netflix version or whatever used everyting very very well
I don't even know why people ignore the enhanced senses since it's a pretty unique power set all things considered. Save for perhaps the animal characters in the X-Men.
Generally speaking I think powers that aren't directly related to combat are often ignored. Obviously there's more to the job than just punching people out, but if it doesn't increase your odds of winning a rumbles board match it's like it doesn't exist in the casual eye.
Daredevil and Spider-Man are the big exceptions. Their extra senses are an inherent part of their battle style.
Wolverine gets some love too now and then, though not in a combat sense.
They can use the KotD powers and allow him to keep the Title as King of Wakanda still. There was alot to be mined from KotD and considering that they ANAD line up preview said he would have Vibranium and KotD, its still up in the air. But that allows for interesting story telling, because he can summon the knowledge and strength of previous panthers that, if done right, could lead to some amazing scenes showcasing strategy, combat, and whatever else the writer can think of an throw in.

exactly.....
Remember, it was only processed vibranium that was rendered inert. Vibranium has never bend out of the picture entirely.
And I agree. KotD should be mined for all its worth. As a plot device it could occupy whole arcs just flashing back to the life of a previous Panther. It really bugs me that all Hickman did was have a bunch of cookie cut natured, nattering ghosts. And I hated his characterization of T'Chaka.

Ever since it was made inert its pretty much been written off that they no longer have access to it anymore. There is no more mention at all.
I didn't like Hickmans Tchaka either, or how any of the Panthers acted. They all were of the same mind which would never happen. Poor representation

Can't be better said
Hickman made a point of saying Wakanda still had some available in the FF issues where T'Challa Baca me KoTD. But you are right, it has not really been mentioned. But it's kinda like caps shield or Wolvie's skeleton, it's just taken for granted it's there.
I can't be sure, but I believe in NA he and Reed modified a ultimate nullified with a vibranium barrel.
I totally agree I think it would be a total waste to completely get rid of the abilities BP received as KOTD. However one major problem is we have never seen the BP use the abilities offensively or defensively. They have not done a good job at all highlighting the KOTD powers and it would be a tragedy to just write these abilities off. Think about BP ability to summon the knowledge of all previous BPs the combat, the battle strategy, the mystic knowledge. I think for comic and movie purposes it would make BP that more interesting and continue to establish BP as that GUY!!!! That is what Marvel is attempting to do right????
I am very interested in how they will portray BP in new CA movie in 2016; because let's face it CA, Winter Solider and Iron man should not be able to hold a candle to a royal warrior born and bred since birth in the most technology advanced nation on earth with super human strength, speed, agility, reaction, senses, master of all forms of martial art known and unknown with the ability to draw knowledge and strength from centuries of previous BPs while already being a Super genius, one of the 7 smartest people in the world. (I personally rank him and Reed Richards as a tie given the area in question, but that's just me). Now Marvel if you want a the fans to love BP, see great numbers when his solo title debuts in Feb 2016 and have record breaking numbers at the Box office when his movie debuts in 2018 go with that characterization and you be WINNING!!!!!!
The art for Ultimates looks really good:cool:
bleh. King of the Dead title is stupid.
Just keep Necropolis around and make it so ANYONE holding the title Black Panther is able to go their and commune with the dead Kings and Bast herself.
Add some mysticism too it and call it a day.
Let "king of the dead" die. Keep it simple, keep it King of Wakanda

i have a feeling you are going to be disappointed lol
I REALLY HOPE NOT!!!! I trying to keep hope alive. Also I can live without the KOTD title. I don't think its stupid I think it served it's purpose for the storyline. So restoring him to King of Wakanda with the powers and abilities than he gained as KOTD is perfect for new and more interesting stories and to add to the BP mythology. Want do you guys think?

You're THE GREATEST!
The KOTD title can go by the wayside, but I want them to keep the ability to commune with Panthers past. I also really, really want someone to do back ups in a future BP run that dedicates stories to former BPs similar to what they did in Immortal Iron Fist.
In fact, I'd love to see another mini in the spirit of Flags of our Fathers that shows a WWI era BP teaming up with Orson Randall.
