3. I'm kind of liking the vibe btwn Tchalla and emma. I'd love to see him pull a grimey and kind of stick it to Scott and Ro. (Even though I love cyclops in every other thing than his interactions with the ruler of the life impaired)
While I 100% disagree on the "to stick it to Scott and Ro" (T'Challa is too mature for such pettiness, and Emma has moved past being angry at Scott); I actually DO like the idea of an Emma/T'Challa pairing. I could see that working. Doubt it would happen, but still = cool idea. :)

How in the world can you see that working?
One of the most paranoid Marvel characters paired up with one of the most untrustworthy heroes. Not to mention that their personalities clash completely.

Why is she one of the most untrustworthy? She's been a hero far longer than she was a villain.

Opposite attract! Standard rule of the best romances in cinema. Both are powerful, opinionated, determined and willing to do what must be done to protect what is theirs.

She's untrustworthy because even as a hero she's shown herself to be a liar and as evidenced in the last issue of Original Sin she's a psychic that has no problem trying to pry into peoples minds without their consent.

Opposites don't attract to that extent....Let's also not forget she played a role in the attack on Wakanda.

I know NA is light on action, but I love BP in a character driven book with a bunch of characters. The best part for me was when they aknowleged how crazy it was fighting next to hulk and cool superman.
Note the "cool superman" part. That is 100 % correct. That's the superman we all know. Not sure about that MoS/Nu52 guy. lol.
I loved how it showed that Panther was indeed physically superior--but Bat-guy had all the Batman stuff going for him, like throwing his devices and gadgets. Then when Panther threw his what I think was a hard light dagger at him and the "Rider Star" broke it and Panther just caught it between two fingers. Hickman gave us a good Batman vs. Panther. When there was Marvel vs. DC, they didn't put him up against him. He was fighting the Blue Beetle or something.
I'm kind of rooting for some of the GS to come to 616. I like the female speedster.

Course, from an entertainment standpoint you could argue that's exactly why it might work. Having clashing personalities in entertainment at least actually often makes for a funner couple than ones which are more conflict free and similar.
-
You can't pair them together. She is the one who goaded Namor into attacking Wakanda. It doesn't help T'challa at all and he would look poorly. He could have conflict and fun pairing with someone else. He should find out that she was part of it, in OS.
I think it would be funny if he did it to get at you know whom. But other than that, nah. I would not really support it.

Yeah, I think there was a nice balance between Black Panther and the GS Batman. T'Challa mentions that the Batman guy was perhaps the better fighter. But visually at least T'Challa seemed physically superior, the way he was sort of maneuving around him. And they both had cool gear, which effectively statemated each other. It was a nice balance with a nice dialogue exchange. Very cool. Closest we'll probably ever get to the real thing in the current corporate comic enviroment.
And Black Panther never really had a shot at fighting Batman in JLA/Avengers because Bats was off with Cap investingating the people behind the whole thing once T'Challa showed up in the story. Though he was one of the martial artists guys that teamed up with Batman against the group of bad guy martial artists at the end there. So the two characters at least had a little bit of play.
Hopefully the Great Society do make it out of this. In the short time we've seen them, I've almost ended up sort of rooting for them in the book.

Are we really going to do this in a thread about T'Challa, King of planning? ;) He's hardly "trustworthy" in that regard either (and I mean that in the best possible way, he plans how to take out his friends at a moments notice). Both understand that sometimes you need to break the rules or "not play fair" to get things done. They "get" that hard choices happen and it's not a perfect world. They'd be a very dangerous couple indeed, both willing to go to whatever lengths are needed to protect their own. Could be an epic new power couple?

Let's also not forget: while possessed by the phoenix.

Let our king fly solo for a few years
besides Jungle Action I've liked him better single. I liked how Monica was there during Priest's run but not with T'challa and I also liked him by himself in Liss and Kirby's runs

Solo is probably a good idea.
I don't think he's entirely over Storm anyways, and in NA at least he seems a bit too pre-occupied with stuff to start dating. Though if he had his own solo book, it's probably something they might wanna consider.

Emma/Black Panther would be some fun fan-fiction, but as canon?
I think BP's gone through enough brand diluting.

good to see that B.P is still inspiring the creation of new black superheroes...
T'challa and Emma Frost would be a match made in hell... Emma Frost is prideful, self centered manipulative person I do not think a straight forward, traditionalist and honorable person like T'challa would even be friends with White Queen further more be in a relationship with her.

Because T'Challa's never prideful or manipulative???
