It's the only thing that makes sense.
T'Challa needs to jump on his jet bike on fly away leaving Storm fading away in his rear view mirror.
Hell, Coates needs to be standing next to her too.
That better be a supersonic jet bike cause he can't get away from the Coates train wreck fast enough.
Gotta wonder how the x office will react when BP's movie breaks the box office and Marvel makes Nakia the new leading lady in the BP mythos as T'Challa leaves storm behind for good as he and his franchise moves on to bigger and better things.
They won't do anything other than the same ol' isht they've been doing. Nothing has changed for poc in the X-verse for over 25 years.

I'd imagine no reaction at all. So far at least Storms interaction with T'Challa is only on the BP side of things.

Well the person we're talking about doesn't take any of that into account, and he either somehow thinks Coogler is a sellout or a puppet or both, I forget which he said. Somehow being backed by a white owned company means they control everything and you have no input whatsoever. It's silly, foolish, and not bound in this reality, which is ironic since he claims its black nerds who don't subscribe to this reality. Or if he's so righteous, why is he on white-owned Youtube saying this?
Another thing, there are plenty of independent black owned comics, if he's Mr. Research funny how he's never came across that. Or you have to work with the tools you're given until you can get your own tools. What if this leads to black people saying "They were able to do that with Disney, imagine what we can do without Disney?" This movie is a gateway alright, but to positivity and what black people are capable of. For someone who calls him himself a "Professor" (or the "Authority" on black people like his other ID The Black Authority) how he missed this is...interesting to say the least.
Heh, exactly.

Unless you are Logan, Wolverine, Deadpool, Magneto, Summer or Grey the X Office has no idea what to do with you. They have low-key been milking and resusing storylines from their hey day. Outside House of M, some of Carey's stuff, and a few arcs of Ultimate X Men I can't remember the last time I was like that's fresh.
That being said how they treat Storm in Panther is pretty much how they treat the other characters who have been Avengers etc.
-
I just want to say that I've watched the BP trailer everyday since it released. I used to think people who watched reaction videos were crazy people. Now I understand why. I've never been this hyped for a movie ever in my life. The most I've ever watched a trailer was 3 times. Yo I've turned into a crazy person.

Pretty much. They have a very small pool of characters that they choose to work from and they don't plan to deviate from that. And yeah, don't be an Avengers character showing up in an X-title. You're pretty much a government stooge whose only existence is to bring in mutants.

I doubt anyone in the X-Office will care one way or the other.

The feelings mutual from my perspective.

The only fear I have and I hate to type this but some ignorant fool bringing a gun into the theater like Dark Knight
Between you and me I half-expected it with wonder woman too. I want to say no way, but it has crossed my mind a few times since the Philando castille shooting.
But I think it still makes BP look good because in the end despite the MA trying to be independent they were in over their heads and still needed BP and Wakanda.
Yep and like then bumbling fool coatesverse panther is, he not only forgave them for abandoning the crown, not passing information about the rapes from the chieftain, taking it upon themselves to handle it and kill the chieftain punishable by death, break a convicted criminal out of prison, take over the jabari lands, side with terrorists and enemies of the state, and suicide bombers,
legions die by Tchallas own words, fighting them, and not only are the transgressions forgiven, he gives then the jabari lands, and not so much as a thank you or anything, they go back and talk shit until Changa gives some stupid as speech that makes Aneka cry for some reason yet they still don't give a fuck about what they did. That is Worse then What Mayberry did with doomwar.
IMO they should do a story with Black Panther & Storm like "Spider-Man:One Moment in Time", so T'Challa can part ways on a happy note withStorm and then feel free to go after some one else that has nothing to do with any other established franchise in other Marvel properties.
The 616 is a shared universe, where characters can be and should be shared. What should NOT happen, or be allowed by Marvel, is Marvel writers and editors to be unprofessional, selfish, racist, childish and ignorant in how they portray characters or established franchises or Marvel properties interacting with one another.
The only thing that needs to stop, or the only thing that needs to change is the people in the X-Office (some of them, not all), being removed from overseeing certain characters because they apparently can't act professionally when it comes to Storm and Black Panther or the other characters they have issues with portraying correctly. I'm not asking for those people to be fired from their jobs, just re-assigned to other characters.
Because if everyone who worked in the X-Office behaved professionally, we wouldn't be having these issues with the franchises in a shared 616 universe. And basically if you ask that Storm and Black Panther not interact romantically or even at all, then the unprofessional behavior would win out and would be rewarded because we'd be asking for the exact same thing the unprofessionals are asking for and are actively trying to sabotage because their egos and psyches can't handle Storm being with a black man.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't force it to drink said water.
Marvel have allowed Coates to throw T'Challa and the BP mythos into the rape camp, misogyny and ineptitude zone.
Why on earth would they come correct and corral the X-Office now?
