I never allowed myself to dream that an Avengers movie, hell THE Avengers movie, would have its first trailer, the one that's going to play in front of the biggest movie of the year, and Black Panther would have the second most words after the antagonist. That the Wakandan army would be the one making the heroic last charge for the fate of man, Earth, and the universe. That Okoye would be part of a main charge with Cap and Hulk and Bucky and Black Widow and Falcon and War Machine and her king.
And I know that they're all going to die, because Thanos and the Black Order are going to be handing out losses like club flyers on the Vegas Strip. But damn man, I never dreamed that the last stand of man in an Avengers movie was going to be one where I could see my father and my cousins and my best friend and his brothers and sister.
Like that shit just hit me really fucking hard.
If you would of told me we would be seeing this happen, the Black panther, Wakanda leading the final stand in a multi-million dollar franchise, with the biggest build up to the final confrontation, I wouldn't believe it. But look at where we are. Wakandans going to battle in a SWaD/ TRO manner, potentially following the story and getting an initial win against Thanos. Yes the final portion had Cap at the lead but Tchalla lead the charge against the invading force it looks like when the battle first starts.
This is huge stuff. What a time to be alive.. the comics side needs to drink up that MCU koolaid because this is history in the making here

I actually don't think any of the newer characters will die. I suspect Avengers 3-4 will play out as a "passing of the torch" of sorts from the old crew to the new crew.
The BP/Panthro crossover is complete. Ending did not disappoint.
Random question.
The movie and cartoon rights would stay with Marvel, but would it be cool if Lion Forge was able to purchase the Black Panther comic rights?
Just realized that Lions Forge has a comic book about the wrestler Chavo Guererro. Gotta admit the idea of a Black Panther team up with Chavo Guererro would be kinda funny.
That said, no... I want BP in the marvel universe. I want him on the Avengers. I want him teaming up with Storm. I want him fighting Dr. Doom.
For all it's faults, marvel is still my favorite fictional universe. BP not being in it just wouldn't be the same.

It would be a big feather in the cap of Lions Forge as a company, but I'm not sure how it helps Black Panther as a franchise?

No, what they should do is take the golden age character from All-Negro Comics, Lion Man, and make him their "Black Panther". He's public domain and basically a mashup of The Phantom and a Proto-Black Panther. He even protects a hidden nation which stockpiles the world largest source of uranium.

I did an update of him awhile back and played as him in Champions Online almost exclusively.
Heck his name is even Lion Man. He could be a flagship character.
Being "NuBlack", starring in and defending that wack Nina Simone movie, etc.
Let's just put it this way, if Brad Cooper ever drops out Zoe can pull double duty by playing Rocket.
I see what you did there. Lol!
Coates level bad?
They'd make a good couple but Coates melanin would get in the way of true love.

Pretty good considering all the other movies ahead of it are sequels or reboots to classic movies. BP is the first in it's fine franchise. I can live with that
