I hope all you T'Challa fans get ready to see Ororo in Black Panther 2. It's clear Marvel is doing everything they can to bring them back together. The Queen is back in her rightful place.
I hope so too! It's a very good chance it will happen of this deal is made.
ANd the moment that happens-I will boycott Black Panther.
And lets get something straight if that happens-it's not to get Storm into Black Panther-it's about Deadpool, Logan and the rest of the X-Men who don't need to take over someone else's book to get attention.
The Queen's place is at Wolverine's side not BP. Because the moment X-Men become Marvel's Panther, Carol, Strange, GOTG and so on will all take a backseat.
that's not true. marvel would work to integrate the xmen. the avengers side has shown to be huge revenue makers. also the queen place is beside her king tchalla. that's why Coates have them together.

No thank you. Na'Challa all the way
there are always gonna be people that have something negative to say as they also do about blsck panther. hasn'tstopped u from liking him has it?

exactly it's insane and some would rather see him with characters who looked to destroy wakanda.
The fact that some turned this news into stuff about Storm and not something more troubling like Doomwar or Namor destroying Wakanda, or something great like T'Challa soloing the Fantastic Four really says a lot about why some are even here in the first place.

I don't know about that. There are a number of legit BP fans who were fans of the marriage so this news opens the possibility of Storm and T'Challa teaming up in other media. I can see why some folks are potentially excited.
Personally, as much as I like Storm, I wouldn't mind BP moved on and got another love interest.
If anyone doesn't think there's a place for women in tech, it's completely demolished in this movie.
Her role is the most important. In the comic book, T'Challa is a scientist and a king, but my sister is the whiz kid. She is the one with that gift. She's the Tony Stark of Wakanda. She's witty, she's cool, she's funny. Now T'Challa is good in science too, but she's the whiz. That's the way the story's been told forever. T'Challa is technologically sound. He's a scientist as well, but she's the minister of technology.
Well, I'm not going to say that I'm not a *little* disappointed, but at least T'Challa is still somewhat smart.
In either case, it's good for women to get a role model, too.
EDIT: Actually, it would be nice if Shuri were smarter than Tony, and T'Challa was at least on equal ground with Stark. I appreciate the scenes where T'Challa makes Tony look dumb, tbqh.

So Coates just took a Shuri feat and attributed it to waking up on the wrong side of the bed?
Needs to get off this book pronto. lol

It's easier to see a mistake in hindsight.
At the time it made all the sense in the world to invade Wakanda, from her perspective at least. She didn't know what T'Challa and Namor knew at the time. But the benefit of hindsight allows her to see that choosing a pointless war which resulted in the destruction of both their kingdoms really didn't do anyone any good. In hindsight, accepting peace when both nations were at 100% makes more sense than continuing a conflict which resulted in both being destroyed. But again, that's only something she could see in hindsight.

She was right though. Atlantians flooded the city and murdered their diplomats. In addition to Hickman' s poor writing. And if you except WoW. Atlantis terrorist were sneaking in WK.

If the "right" answer meant that her kingdom would end up being destroyed another 2-3 times, is that really the right answer? In the least I'm not sure it's the "best" answer.
Not that Shuri's decision at the time wasn't 100% understandable. Almost anyone at the time would probably do what she did. She wasn't wrong in the sense that what she did didn't make sense given what she knew (again, Namor and T'Challa knew things at the time that she didn't).
But Shuri didn't understand the bigger picture like T'Challa did (which in all fairness is entirely his fault since he kept it from her). There's a reason he went along with Namors peace treaty. This wasn't the time, and further conflict would have been pointless. Plus, again in hindsight it results in both kingdoms being destroyed.
THis is simply a case of an older wiser Shuri being able to look back and recognize that there are things she could have done differently to achieve a better end result. Had she gone along with T'Challas council, maybe things would have turned out better (because it sure as heck couldn't have turned out any worse). And because she was ruler at the time, that was on her fair or not. SHe has to live with the fact that her nation was destroyed time and time and time again while she was on the throne, so it inly makes sense for her to look back with some degree of regret at some of the decision she made given the outcome they got.
No it doesnt. The only person she should be upset with is Tchalla for holding back information.

I'm not going to lie I thought that scene was kinda badass, because it wasn't enough for her to level atlantis, she had to use the ashes for gardening. I'm ALLL THE WAY HERE for cutthroat Shuri.

She wasn't promoting herself. She was putting herself down for being cutthroat.

We'll have to agree to disagree over Shuri having regrets. It the outcome of the pointless war was both nations being completely destoryed then I imagine there is a ton of regret there.
But as far as her being upset with T"Challa for holding back information, clearly she was at the time. And it was entirely understandable that she would feel that way. It's frankly why T"CHalla argued that the Illuminati was a bad idea in the first place. It required them to work in secret, which meant them lying to their friends and family. Whether T'CHalla did the right thing or not is debatable, but it has consequences.
