I disagree. I think Spider-Man has him beat. His costume has the perfect blend of tech in it while still coming off as something that is designed for a gymnast specifically. The parachoute and little remote controlled bug are all fantastic additions. I don't know if you've seen trailer #3 for the Homecoming movie but that's what I was expecting T'challa's suit to be like. I honestly don't see how that can be topped.
T'challas is just bulletproof spandex. I think Black Widow has a better looking black costume. I wouldn't mind some gold accents on it though.
The Crysis 2 power suit is the direction that the MCU should take the Black Panther suit.
Spider-Man suit is up there too. I think it works in an entirely different way. While BP'a suit is elegant and simple, Spideys suit is a fun design. They both work extremely well for the characters.
Part of me was actually kinda bummed that Reed ended up T'Challas BFF instead of Steve (even thought Reed makes perfect sense). I liked Steve and T'Challa friendship too. More team ups would be nice.
I actually prefer the BP & Cap friendship over the BP & Reed friendship. I like them both and I like the scientific connection between BP & Reed; however I like the fact the BP & Cap can relate to one another since they both are symbols of their respective nations.

I kinda hope we see that Friendship in the movies (where there's no Reed as competition). We only saw Steve and T'Challa talk at the very end for a few seconds, but hopefully Steve stuck around Wakanda a little bit and formed some sort of friendship. I'd be nice to see them fighting together instead of against each other somewhere down the line in the movies. Infinity maybe.
There's no excuse. Some of the African gods have to become regular characters in the comics. Give them their own ongoing title. Thor, Hercules, have already been seen and have a presence.
Not sure he counts, but Khonshu will show up in Moon Knight every now and then.
But it seems like Egyptian gods are more into using human avatars (ie Moon Knight and Black Panther) than doing stuff themselves. At least compared to their greek and norse counter parts.

If they ever get around to trying to reboot The Invaders, the line up should involve Black Panther via retcon.
I really would have loved to see a follow up to Flags of Our Fathers that teams Azzuri up with John Aman, Captain America, Spitfire, Namor, and The Human Torch fighting Axis in Northern Africa. Maybe the villains could be trying to steal the Ark from Ethiopia and have John Aman join Hydra at the end.

"Black Panther and the Danger In Letting Others Dictate Your Heroes" hour long.
This guy must be in this thread because he repeats EVERYTHING that many have complained about the entire run. And I do MEAN everything.
Now the video does mistake the Midnight Angels as Coates creations-they were Mayberry's.
While I don't agree with everything said here (the perceived homophobia, the BP movie being a form of white validation etc), he does raise some very good points. Coates definitely came in with an agenda and it does seem like his agenda was accepted by Marvel (or Disney, as said in the video) because it doesn't directly elevate black people, but the LGBTQ community. The same goes for Gay as well, and her disrespect was extremely telling.
I do also agree that a lot of LGBTQ people push (for the lack of a better term) their lifestyle on others who aren't a part of it. I know saying I have gay friends won't really sway minds but I really don't have an issue with LGBTQ people or relationships (being a member myself) but look at how some of them ship characters that don't have any history or show any signs of being gay, bisexual or the like (although I think straight women do this as well as some form of a sexual fantasy). Steve and Bucky is the most recent example that comes to mind. I believe the trending hashtag on twitter at some point was #LetCapHaveABoyfriend or #LetBuckyHaveABoyfriend. Almost every straight male character in the MCU is shipped with one another. I see it happen a lot in the DC/CW shows as well and in young adult fiction. Plus, the #LetAyoHaveAGirlfriend and the call for a boycott of the BP movie was just all forms of ridiculousness. It is very telling that there was no controversy surrounding the sexuality of DCEU's Wonder Woman when her comic book counterpart was announced to be bisexual but all of a sudden Ayo giving Okoye a compliment must lead to something more than that. Again, I'm not a homophobic person and there are a lot of black people in the LGBTQ community that need to be stood up for too (whether through representation or social justice), but we as black people as a whole do need to be careful about who is telling our stories and why.
Now as for the talk of the BP movie seemingly only about the women of Wakanda, I blame Coates, Gay and the media for that (and I think he was too anyway). Because their characters became so popular with the media, and with these said characters being women, it comes as know surprise that the media would focus on them since people finding out more about BP now would probably have read Coates' and Gay's books. Ryan Coogler and Chadwick Boseman talk a lot about T'Challa. Honestly I haven't seen them talk about anyone else (though that can change when the real promotional run kicks in). Besides, the BP mythos has always had strong female characters (Shuri, Queen Ramonda, the Dora Milaje, Bast). One really wishes Coates understood that without trying to bring T'Challa down to bring them up. I'm sure the movie will do the same thing and I do think Black Panther can be a good symbol for black people all over the world to look up to if he just had the right people for him.

It's a shame marvel has issues with the rights to Isiah Bradley. There's probably a nice story marvel could tell with him and Azzuri.

I like this idea. Adding Azzari the Wise would be a nice addition.
I too would like to see BP & Cap become good friends in the movies as well. They had an interesting dynamic in the film and I would have liked to have seen a longer 1 on 1 fight between them.

Given that T'Challa is essentially taking it upon himself to keep watch over Bucky, I think a sort of bond with him and Steve will form. I hope Steve at least has a cameo in the BP movie. If not I'm certain we'll see them interacting in Infinity War.

So Zemo went to Wakanda and got shown the door? lol
This is why we need a crossover at least a one shot.

Another glorious off panel victory by Wakanda. I think it was Zola though.
But Secret Empire Brave New World has T'Challa on the cover. Maybe that book will cover that story. It could be one of those anthology books that covers the stuff there's no space for in the main book.

At first I thought there was an issue that I had missed. I bet this was pretty cool. Reminds me of when the Skrulls tried to invade Wakanda in Secret invasion.

I agree. As others have mentioned, I hope Secret Empire: BNW at least helps shed some further light on what actually happened in Wakanda.

Atleast they didn't get the Atlantis treatment. Seriously Atlantis has been destroyed several times already since the ANAD MU. Spencer Respects Wakanda enough to have them repelling threats like the badasses they are

Honestly though, I'll bet it wasn't THAT cool. No offense to Zola, but he probably didn't put up that much of a fight. I still wanna see it, but on paper it sounds like a cumberstomp.
I think round 2 will be a lot more interesting, because presumably Steve won't take Wakanda as lightly the second time around. I imagine he'll either send Zemo and his group of villains, or he'll go after the cube piece himself with the Avengers. Either way it'll be more of a fight. And that HAS to be shown on panel, at least to SOME degree.
Either way, Steve is learning that taking over the world is no cake walk.
