Well, it's already shown up more often than the KotD thing. :D

The ability to control zombies simply isn't a power one is going to use all that often. How often do you run into a zombie.
In one very specific situation it was very very useful. But you're not going to get a lot of milage out of it most of the time.
That aspect aside the enhanced physical stats was probably useful, though visually you can never really tell the difference.
All he got out of it as a very brief display of his abilities in the beginning, a potential display of his abilities that resulted in off panel action, a tongue lashing from his father and ancestors, and the ability to talk and somewhat commandeer zombies, who only served as some sort of a distraction.
There may have been good intentions behind it, but like Shadow Physics it didn't amount to much in the grand scheme of things.

What enhanced physical stats? LMAO!
I wonder if the tracking souls thing from the Coates preview is his exploration of kotd. Coates has a lot of 'splaining to do for other writers.

They had it on that Disney game ad well, it might become standard pretty quickly. Claws, daggers, force push kimoyo (hopefully) , and Microweave will probably be the standard equipment for BP. Which I would be fine with so long as the daggers also have the range attachment too

I'm glad we're getting Panther'so rage reprinted.
i still don't believe he ever had any KOD powers until the very end where Hickman 'revealed' it to us via zombie control, hence why hickman was so adamant on proving that there was a pay off.
Prior to that, all bp's physical feats in NA/A was just hickman trying to (re)create dramatic moments without caring for the details or whether it made any logical sense with the characters he was using.
i.e. the black dwarf encounter was just a cheap imitation of "see wakanda and die"; same premise but w/o any of the crafty details to show how they took down an invading space army with a cosmic hulk-level brute leading the charge. So the result was people thought it must've been his KOD powers when really (imo) we were just supposed to assume it was just resilient wakanda being resilient again (similar to the skrulls)... and not give it any more thought than hickman gave to it (lol).
Same thing with BP putting the beats on Namor after struggling to beat up the Batman amalgam. Or geriatric steve rogers taking down 2 clone Shang Chi's after that Shang Chi subplot was hyped up as some type of game changer a couple issues prior.
And i've been lookin at youtube videos of this Disney infinity 3 - Black Panther stuff... and it's pretty f'ing cool.
Still not fully sure what disney infinity even is (a play-as-anyone-owned-by-Disney kids game for pc?) but BP looks bad ass... and all his abilities I see there I would not mind being the "standard". The capoeira is... interesting... and it makes me wonder what Boseman's unique fighting style is that they've been mentioning in the movie, with how BP apparently will move/fight differently from everyone else. Also, Boseman has talked about the force push, Coates has implemented the force push and now we're seeing the force push in this game w/ BP's civil war suit; they also gave him that quick dash and speed we saw in the trailers, as well as a few other cool things.
I def like.
probably due to some editorial regulations that prevented Hickman from diving in to T'Chlla's KOTD abilities or lack of time.
Still I was slightly disappointed with the KOTD abilities and the whole talking to the dead thing was almost like a last minute thought and was was shoehorned in to the story to validate T'Challa being the KOTD.
Let's hope we see some sort of advancement with the character in the future
Ummm. Respectfully disagree. It was a story device throughout Hickmans run and play a part in the end.People saw it as just power upgrade but it was a story device instead. Nothing wrong with that IMHO.

I wonder... it sounded to me from interviews that Stelfreeze & Coats came up with the "force push" themselves. Coincidence? Or did they come up with it early enough in the development process for it to be included in the movie/games?
T'Challa's Galactus moment was very cool but I guess my disapointment lies more in the fact that with Ewing being a definite continuity/characterization buff, I was maybe, expecting too much.
I've said it before and I will say it again, T'challa needs a defining moment like this....

To show why he is on the Ultimates other than to bankroll and drive the team bus.
That scene is just perfect Batman. Well, well outside his weight class but proves vital because of his brain (decoding Darkseid's password) and but of his not give a **** attitude and BALLS.
If you are going to have a mildly enhanced hero hang around with heavyweights, you have to show us other reasons why he is there. And so far... Ewing hasn't done that. T'challa can't even come off as the "big genius" because Brashear is smart as hell too. If they would have replaced Adam with say... Captain Britain or some ****, then at least you can give T'challa 100% of the science mumbojumbo credit. But you can't because Adam is a genius in his own right.
It is one reasn they dumb down Superman in JL, so Batman gets all the strategic/genius parts.

I don't believe in coincidences.
