Almost every other book pretty much ignored Secret Wars like nothing happened, so they really didn't need to know specifics apart from the universe being restored again.
Squadron Supreme and Black Panther were the only books which directly had to deal with the fall out of Secret Wars... but that ironically means ignoring the whole time travel thing in order to make sense of thing.
Bollocks. Iron Man #1, the "flagship" of the relaunch, revealed Doom was alive, face healed (AKA ONE OF THE LAST PAGES OF THE LAST ISSUES OF SW#9), on the last page of the first issue.

YIKES that was fast.
> 114. Rise of Black Panther #6 (Marvel) - 18,487 [114]
This did VERY well for an announced mini
That is roughly a 70% drop off. That is about the same ratio for his first and second issue.

Fair point. So yeah... so Bendis at least had a heads up that Dooms face would be healed. He's an "architect" at marvel though... or at least he was at the time, so he may have more access to info than guys like Starlin and Coates.
Here's a link to Breevorts explanation of all of that.

He states in the new marvel universe, the incurions still occur. But Reed and his family sacrifice themselves to prevent the final incursion. Don't see the cult of Reed popping up in Wakanda anytime soon though.
Because even if Reed and fam still prevented the final Incursion T'Challa was the one to restore the universe with the IG.

The actual book itself is left open to interpretation.
But at least the official editorial line is that the world was saved due to the sacrifice of Reed and his family. So that's why they're not worshipping T'Challa as a god for what happened.

Again, it's sort of open to interpretation what exactly happened there. It shows him going back in time to NA 1. But that doesn't mean he was the one who necessarily restored the multiverse. Since the world was vanishing at that moment, Reed could have been restoring the universe as we speak. It doesn't flat out state who did what.
But either way, the point being that the world believes Reed and his family sacrified themselves to save the world.

Reed may have stopped the incursions. T'challa remade the world (except shuri lolololol)
on panel trumps all. So, when the new F4 books comes out, maybe it will clarify... on panel.
The Incursion happened. Everything was wiped out.
T'Challa used the IG to restore everything right before the point of the 1st Incursion. Once that happened, another Incursion did not occur.
If Wakandans are going to hold T'Challa accountable for all the death and destruction, then they should be worshipping him as a god for restoring a universe.

No, according to Coates they stay worshipping a faux goddess Instead. :smh:

Yeah, Coates said he remade the world. I'm just saying what happened in the original book is open to interpretation.
The world was already fading, so it could have just as easily been Reed restoring the universe as T'CHalla, with him using the time gem to travel back in time. Hickman and Breevort weren't sure if he used the time gem or the reality gem.
Coates however solidly believed it was the reality gem, and put the ball in T'Challa's court. He doesn't necessarily get the credit for it publically… but at least Coates made sure to give him the nod in his book.

Is this a really long winded way to say "on panel, where it counts, T'challa remade the world"
???
Unless there is a panel, somewhere (which is possible) that gives someone else credit for it.... the continuity says it was T'challa until further notice.
