It was awesome.
It was a really good episode, and no stupid stuff that has hampered the last few seasons.

That was fantastic! I’m digging the new suit and it’s finally red! Here’s to hoping this season is better than the last two.
Nora is adorable. Yeah, I said it. :)

And Ryan Choi created it. Maybe we'll see him this season.
Not a fan of the new suit. Dunno why they changed it, but whatever. Nice start, thus far.
Already digging this season so much more than last. Not sold on the look of Cicada, but I am interested in learning more (which is more than I could say about Devoe).
Full on schway!
So let's see if I grabbed the references/Easter Eggs.
[spoil]
1. The mention of Lightning Lad seems purposeful. Supergirl's show similarly referenced him if I'm remembering right. So this XS is connected to the Legion as well.
2. If the above is true they may be adapting the idea that Dawn and Don in the comics actually migrated to the Reboot Legion's Universe's reality which was touched on in Legion of Three Worlds. Strengthened by the idea Nora here is fully aware of who Supergirl is.
3. Ryan Choi/ The Atom helped create the Flash ring shrinking/fitting tech.
4. They seemed to reference with Ralph the fact his name was mentioned as one of the dead in Season 2 implying Flashpoint canonically brought him back to life but no one on the team is aware because they don't remember his name from then.
5. The schway line which was popularized on Batman Beyond...so some version of Neo Gotham exists in the future possibly?
6. Villain...Kobra? Certainly seemed snake themed.

Can't help but wonder if Oliver would be "Uncle Ollie" to Nora.
What are the odds that episode one begins with "My name is Nora Allen," eh?
Sorry. I was wrong. The line was "My name is Nora West-Allen."
The ring and the airplane. I was freaking out both times.
Also, thank goodness but Ralph was only in this episode sparingly. I can only handle him in small doses.

Yeah, I know I'm supposed to like the new suit better because it's more like the comics version, but the other is the one I would want to wear in reality.

And it's a brighter red. The lack of a chin strap didn't bother me and the cowl didn't look as bulky in live action. That seem to be a big complaint people had when they saw the stills.
That's why I like to wait until I see a costume in live action. People complained about Superman but when he was actually in live action he looked great too.

Phasing the airplane through a bridge was right out of the comic books.
Actually an interesting episode. Much better than last season's boring thread. I still wonder if Flash disappearing is the COIE or what? Red Skies? It's nice to know you are going to die, fairly soon.
Shouldn't the Legends and Time Bureau be all over Nora to get her out of there?
