I think the show is going to be a big hit even if Grant Gustin isn't as hunky as Stephen Amill.

• Joes’ blowing up at Barry about his dad being a killer and Barry’s attempt to clear him was distasteful. He apologized for it at the end. But it really made me wonder how long he was harbouring this type of anger.

i don't see a problem with how he dealt with it. at some point in time, you can't let your child, and barry is like his son, continue to keep believing something delusional (of course, the impossible becomes reality in that universe), especially if it's detrimental to their well-being and an obstacle to closure. you can only be nice and easygoing about it for so long before you get frustrated and think that being more forceful, more vocal, may be the way to finally get through to them.

you want tact...go watch The Cosby Show
you want tact...go watch The Cosby Show
That was a really inane comment.
a little
I have no issue with him blowing up, like the above poster said, he's been covering for Barry and helped raise him and Im sure he's let Barry get away with a ton, so an outburst like that is not bad or distasteful

is he supposed to keep treating it with kid gloves for the rest of barry's life? in the real world, that would be detrimental to his growth.

what this guy said
is he supposed to keep treating it with kid gloves for the rest of barry's life? in the real world, that would be detrimental to his growth.
His mother died and his father is in prison for it he could show a little more sensitivity towards that fact.

Im sure he has, having taken Barry in and raised him
Im sure he has, having taken Barry in and raised him
I feel like there is a little bit of jealousy in the way he expressed his emotions towards Barry.
I know that seems strange even just saying it.
I think you're overthinking it, human beings get mad at things, sometimes its ill timed
it happens
maybe he feels that Barrys unwillingness to let it go (unbeknownst of the acutal circumstances) has hindered Barrys growth in ways
