"Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" -- Anthrax (covering Black Sabbath)
Persistence Of Time (album) - Anthrax
My trawl through the Anthrax archives continues with this absolute gem. This is Anthrax's more serious and technical fifth album from 1990 and Christ it f##king rocks. Jam packed with furious thrash riffage. Stunning and probably their strongest set up to this point. Joey Belladonna was about to get his marching orders though.

I feel that album is vastly underrated and overshadowed. It is certainly up there with 'Among the Living' and 'Spreading the Disease' as one of Anthrax's best. Belladonna showing his chops on this album. I loved that they got away from the gimmicky stuff and went a little darker and more serious.
