Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band (album) - The Beatles
Help! (album) - The Beatles
Help! (album) - The Beatles
The Parlophone release, I'm assuming. Back in the 1960s, in North America, we didn't get that. The HELP! we got was half songs from the movie and half instrumental tracks from the movies arranged by George Martin. We never got the UK version of an album until SGT. PEPPER, when everyone got the same album--it was also supposed to be a same day and date release, but I think they were off by one day in some markets. That's what the famous Beatles butcher cover was all about on the North American album, YESTERDAY AND TODAY--the Beatles were angry that their albums were being butchered, with cuts taken from different albums, and less tracks on each album than what the Brits got, to make yet more Beatles albums for the hungry fans in North America (but Capitol rejected that butcher cover).
