Now see, that's something who has always amazed me.
I have heard that from a lot of people and, well, good, real good, if that helped Wally to gain more fans it's fantastic.
But me? I don't know, he's depicted as such a joke in that cartoon.
I loved that he was a goofball and they emphasized his relative youth compared to the other heroes. I dig his Young Justice counterpart as well, unfortunately he ended up being a let down since I thought I'd see Wally become the Flash eventually.

While I do think it was rough in the beginning, I believe they ultimately found a perfect balance for what they were trying to do as the series progressed.
He was certainly the comic relief who would say and/or do stupid things at times, but they also spent an ample amount of time highlighting the character's strengths and showing what he was capable of like in "Divided We Fall". I also never got the feeling they went out of their way to needlessly dump on his character the way I felt YJ did at times. It isn't exactly my ideal interpretation of the character, but I do think it was very much a positive one.

JL/JLU Wally is why Wally is my favorite Flash.
I'm curious as to why DC are so reluctant to give Wally a happy ending.
They've made it clear that they have no intention of having him share the limelight with Barry, so why not let him have a win and drop back into the background with Linda and the kids until someone in charge finally pulls their head out of their arse and decide to use the Flash Family again?
Why are they so intent on heaping more shit on a character who since his return has been subjected to more than most?
As a HUGE Wally West fan, I could live with this situation. I'm quite concerned about where TPTB are planning on taking him.
Modern people charge of comics forget the fact heroes can be happy. Don't always have to sacrifice that. Also that want to keep wally out of limelight because he is more popular then barry. Have him on even footing barry loses.

The latest rumors from 4chan :
[SPOIL]Ray Palmer and Kyle Rayner aren't dying. Roy Harper and Poison Ivy are the two characters who will eat the dust, but don't expect them to stay dead for long (see below). Ivy will get brought back pretty soon in Harley Quinn. Wally West goes crazy while staying in Sanctuary, and believes that the world around him is just a Speed Force illusion. He thinks killing the people there will break the illusion and bring his kids back. Booster Gold reconnects with Ted Kord, and Nightwing convinces Wally to turn himself in. In the end, Wally gets sent to Belle Reve, and Waller puts him in the Suicide Squad. Barry decides he'll investigate to see if he can bring Iris and Jai back.
>This leads into Suicide Squad, where Wally will be the leader. He kills an old Flash villain in the first issue to prove himself.[/SPOIL]
This makes me sick.

Can we do something ? I don't know, call the police, put Didio in the Phantom Zone, kill Wally but at least something.
This is insane.

I like the phantom zone idea.
Also why is Ivy coming back immediately? What's the point of killing her?

Is it up there with using a Magic 8 Ball?

Yeah, 4Chan floated some other rumors earlier that contradict this one. And this is DC, where they seem to be back to bait and switch tactics. I would not assume anything until it is in a published comic.

What can we do to get rid of Didio once for all?
my patience is coming to the limit
-
We don't even know if these rumors are real. It's 4chan.
-
I could see this happening as madening and disgusting as it is.
Didio hates Wally enough and doesn't give a crap about what the fans want enough to pull this crap.
Especially since it seems somehow he is back in the drivers seat and DC is going back to its terrible dark, edgy, new 52 nonsense.
Well so much for Rebirth. Was nice while it lasted.

I just don't care anymore and always expect the worst.
The last two years have shown me that DC has no intention of just giving Wally a simple status quo and regular super hero role. Just keeping him stagnant or screwing with him more.
All one has to do is look at the last two plus years for the proof.

I don't need these rumors to get true to have enough of Didio's way of slaughtering ALL my favorites characters.
