He's DC super-exclusive, so expect some big things from him coming up. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see him co-writing a biweekly Shazam book with Geoff Johns. He's a huge DC-classic fan.
I expect Midnighter to feature heavily in Grayson, as Seeley has become the torch-bearer for the Wildstorm universe in general, and Ellis' contributions in particular, and with two issues a month he'll have a lot of room to fill, and a lot of opportunity to re-introduce those characters.
Digging his Rose Tattoo return in SS, too.
Would love to see Orlando take Midnighter on in a longer term format again, as well.
In Suicide Squad? I'm not sure how I feel about this...?
Regarding Midnighter, I have the last issue, but I haven't read it yet. I'm kinda hoping that his title will come back sometime down the raod.

I understand that people love the character. But I would only want to see him come back in his own book under the pen of a good writer who knows how to show how nuanced he is. Otherwise I would rather just see him on a team book.

Indeed, I wouldn't want Midnighter written again with out the nuance, wit and character that Orlando and co. gave us over he past year.
I've just reread all twelve issues as whole, it reads really well as two six-parters with the reveal of Prometheus as a changeover.
Multiplex, man he is perfect as an incompetent nemesis for Midnighter!

Midnighter fans... what are some of your favorite Midnighter art pieces?

I didn't realize I hadn't posted my Midnighter outfit here!

I was discussing this with a friend earlier and who would you all cast as a live-action Midnighter. His immediate response was Tom Hardy (because I honestly don't think he knows any other action stars lol) but I'm curious to see who other fans seem as him.
Also, if Midnighter had to recruit a team for a new Secret Six who would you like to see him interacting with?
-
Oooh Tom hardy! Good one! I also think Matt Bomer. If you saw his hairstyle in the last series of American Horror story you wouldn't not be able to think of Midnighter.
As for suicide squad, hmmm. Maybe the following...
1. Harley Quinn
2. Nightwing, for the eye candy
3. Jason Todd
4. King shark (how could you not have King Shark?)
5. Katana
6. Poison Ivy

I think Midnighter in the Suicide Squad could be interesting. But that thought really comes from the teams use in his solo series and the film coming out.
I was hoping to get a Midnighter and Batwoman joint series like Detective Comics but with Midnighter instead of Batman.
I always thought Midnighter and the Outsiders could be promising as well.
-
Midnighter and the Outsiders would be amazing. I really miss reading him monthly. That new mini needs to hurry up and come out so I can get my fix.
I actually found out Orlando was at a comic shop not too far from me yesterday and I'm distraught cause I missed the chance to gush and tell him how much I loved his book. Plus, I wanted to get the #1 issue signed. Gah. Have to try again for another time.

For fun, Daniel Craig. As a Bond fan when I consider Pierce Brosnan as Batman. Then Daniel Craig's Bond would be The Midnighter. He has the same rough around the edges quality. But if we were to do some serious casting, Sullivan Stapleton of 'Strike Back' would be just as perfect. Irreverent and flies by the seat of his pants type of guy just like Midnighter.

After watching The Nice Guys, I'm now convinced Matt Bomer can pull off Midnighter. He was a badass in that movie, and they also scaled back his prettiness.
Interesting Suicide Squad line-up btw, even if it is too Bat-heavy. OR, you could just replace King Shark with Killer Croc and make it Gotham Suicide Squad or something.

I could see Craig as Apollo actually. Or Chris Hemsworth
