Here's the official solicit for December, to go with that Molina cover from above, when Singularity debuts & assembles A-Force in the NuMU:
Really liked how they're FINALLY using our tagline! I'm a lil' wary of that "threats across the multiverse" bit though, as to me, that means they may not be as directly involved in the happenings of ANADMarvel - i.e., crux of the matter - as I would like. I want them to be right in the thick of things, miXin' it up with all the other major players, heroes & villains alike. It's cool to have 'em off doin' their own thing, with thematic elements unique to them alone, but not so much so... that they're an island unto themselves, pun intended. Go too far down that route, and they could end up being disenfranchised & pretty much disconnected from all the other BIG, important stuff goin' on. Which in turn, may affect sales numbers in a negative way. Speaking of, #3 took a pretty bad hit & saw another hefty decline, sadly:
Ranked 27th, with 49,074 copies ordered, for a -11,256 or -18.66% from #2's 60,330 24th place finish back in July.
Not eXactly encouraging, THAT's for sure. Hopefully, #5 sees at least a minor boost, and then after the new series' #1 likely spike... it stabilizes some, and becomes a consistantly decent seller.
So is the actual ongoing title going to be an all female Exiles type book? I think I've read somewhere that the line up is going to be somewhat fluid and also consist of alt. dimensional characters.

God, I hope not. Nothin' against the "alternate universe(s)" sort of thing, but if that's the case, then it'll almost certainly be... DOOMed! ;) It's my experience that those types of concepts are all but guaranteed not to fly high for very long, and wear thin sooner rather than later. Mostly due to the innate marginalization I mentioned earlier, that basically comes married to it. Funny thing is though, it's the EXACT same comparison that came to my mind also, when reading the solicit... and caused me anxiety, as I began fearing for its success... or lack thereof, as it were.

According to GWW herself (et al.), the main team of She-Hulk, Dazzler, Nico, Medusa, etc., is locked & loaded, BUT...
...
... “Readers first became acquainted with Singularity during our blockbuster summer event SECRET WARS,” says series editor Daniel Ketchum. “At the conclusion of SECRET WARS, Singularity will arrive in the new Marvel Universe. And when she discovers that its fate is hanging in the balance, she will summon A-Force to her side to battle a threat the likes of which they’ve never seen.”
“Given the tremendous fan response to the A-FORCE SECRET WARS series, I’m very excited to bring this wonderful cast of characters home to the new Marvel Universe,” adds Wilson. “She-Hulk, Dazzler, Nico, Medusa and an exciting lineup of guest stars will take on a threat unlike anything they’ve ever faced before.”...
...
.. there's been no mention of the guest stars being from alt. D's, that I'm aware of... YET! - being the key word. So it doesn't mean that it won't happen, ESPECIALLY given the nature of #1's more recent, official promo summary, with all the intentions it implies & seemingly wide net it casts. ;)

I know who won't be one of the guest stars.

To be completely honest, I absolutely love Exiles, and the original did get a 100 issue run. Of course some of the decisions a couple writers made really sunk that ship hard.
Looking back I have to say that's pretty impressive considering it's main selling point was bringing back Blink. But I agree with your reasons for not wanting this to turn into that kind of book. This series has a lot going for it with tons of potential but it feels like A-Force will have an uphill battle and every little bit helps. This team should be shown as a major player with the greater marvel U.

Awe:(
Well this always cheers me up

Lemme guess: Founding Avenger, flies, shoots energy stings, shrinks, is often ignored by most creators these days because reasons....

I still don't "get" the Dazzler look. It was poorly reasoned by Bendis... she was impersonated & drugged so she decides to screw up her hair & wear a shredded outfit because she's MAD.... oh ok? The torn/shredded outfit is bad enough (they're at least making it blue instead of its original black), but the hair bothers me the most. This is a grown woman POP star that's rocking a horrible scissor & dye job you'd expect to see some hipster twink at a gay bar rocking. Eugh. Is it asking too much for her to resemble Kylie Minogue glam instead of P!nk/Miley hot mess? They could have kept her in something silver & with her (longer) strawberry blonde hair to help differentiate her from Carol if that was truly an issue... especially considering that's how her Arcadia counterpart appeared.
I don't get Nico's change either. A young girl wearing a nightgown into battle... I really hope the 2 of them get revised looks soon because they are standing out like sore thumbs on all the covers so far.

Well, it was Kris Anka who redesigned Dazzler. Bendis wanted her to go in a bit of a darker, edgier direction, which was pretty reasonable. And hey, Dazzler could definitely pull off punk. The problem is Anka just drew up a really bad design. It just comes across as lazy. And maybe that was intentional - she was pissed off, so she just uses what's at hand to make an edgier look. But just the same . . . it feels lazy.

With the exception of the redesign he did for Storm, I haven't seen any design from him that didn't come across as lazy and uninspired. I dont see why he is lauded as such a designer.

He did several designs, none were strong but there were certainly better ones that what they ended up using. I still think the in-story reasoning was weak as hell: 616 Dazzler is a woman in her 30s that been through far worse & her reaction was what I'd expect from an idiot teenage character. Plus Bendis also said he wanted something "easy" for people to "cosplay" (and yet quelle surprise no one has yet lmao) & most of his UXM run was borrowing elements from his ultimate run (a dangerous mutant decimating a South Carolina town & punk Dazzler specifically). As someone who has followed the character extensively this look & her reaction to what happened don't resemble the character I've come to know at all. Ult Dazzler can pull off punk, 616 Dazzler cannot -- punk is the antithesis of 616 Dazzler.

His redesign of Psylocke was great imo.
LOVE IT!! I have SUPER-high hopes for #5, and believe it has the potential to EASILY be the best of the A~F SW issues! Lotsa drama & loads of action are SURE to be found, thanks to the MAJOR high-stakes of the sitch, AND... the no-holds barred, creative free rein this Battleworld scenerio lends itself to. So yeah, my eXpectations are @ the MAX, and I have little doubt that they won't be met... THIS time around!
And OMG...

CLEA!
SO GLAD her AWESOMEness is being represented!
RAH-RAH for Misty Knight also, she's ALWAYS a blast & a 1/2!
Same, on all counts. Sabra's been on my radar for a LONG time, but her & this Sera character were the only ones I couldn't name. She definitely NEEDS, and is deserving of, a more defining look.
Also... where's Tigra's stripes?
Lady Sif's look is, wonky. One, I think that her costume must have shrunk in the wash because I cannot recall it being that small before, nor her showing her midriff. Some cleavage (although usually not that much) yes, but not her stomach. Also, what is her cape attached to, her skin, her bones, what? It doesn't seem to be attached to the rest of her costume, that's for sure. That seems a bit unwieldy (not to mention painful).

Gotta have faith. I just can't believe Jan is getting ignored, why? Did Remender have dibs on her and no one knows what to do with her aside from Spencer?

What I do t get is why is she still wearing that look 8 months later? Last we had seen of her she got her payback on Mystique and had calmed down and returned to both singing and being a SHIELD agent. So why is this punk look still a thing?

Maybe she just decided she likes the look? Truthfully, Dazzler's a character whose look should change pretty routinely.
