Just started Reality Is Not What It Seems: The Journey To Quantum Gravity by Carlo Rovelli.
-
Just started Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy. I heard it was a very good book.
-
I just finished the Vicki Delany mystery The Cat of the Baskervilles.

Starting tonight on my Kindle, I'll read the short story Long Odds by H. Rider Haggard, which will be the last Alan Quatermain story I'll be reading for quite a while. After that, it will be the play Amphitryon (about 200 B.C.) by Titus Maccius Plautus (1916 translation by Paul Nixon).
Non-Kindle reading tomorrow: The Scarlet Woman of Wall Street by John Steele Gordon.

Actually, I can't read it. There's a glitch in my e-book that makes it skip pages, so I'm going to postpone reading it. Therefore, I'll be reading The Analects of Confucius (3rd-5th centuries BC) instead.

The Temple of the Golden Pavilion (1956) by Yukio Mishima

Bit of a mix this month:
I Am Thunder (Muhammad Khan) (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/35658909-i-am-thunder)
YA novel set in the UK
Love, Hate & Other Filters (Samira Ahmed) (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/31207017-love-hate-other-filters)
YA novel set in the US
Both Muslim-perspective ones and both quite enjoyable (and both had certain parts I wanted the authors to delve into and explore more)
Banthology: Stories from Unwanted Nations (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/38492376-banthology)
A collection of short stories by writers from the countries on the Trump administration's 'banned' list.
An interesting mix - the alternate history one surprised me.
The Golem and the Djinni (Helene Wecker) (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15819028-the-golem-and-the-jinni)
Hopefully wrapping this one up tonight.

Bit of a nostalgia book for me at the moment but I bought a new copy of Roald Dahl's Matilda and have been reading it at bed this week.

Oh wow, a favourite childhood film of mine. My parents bought me some special edition of the film once for Christmas, and didn't understand when I didn't realise that it was a joke present :P

Yeah it's been years since I last read Matilda, I intend to start reading it to my son when he reaches the age where kids want their parents to read them a bedtime story. I also bought B.F.G as well.

Now reading on my Kindle The Revolt of the Angels (1914) by Anatole France.
-
Just finished Walter Mosley's latest: Down the River unto the Sea. Introduces a new P.I. character. Not sure if it will be a series like his Easy Rawlins or Leonid McGill books, but I hope so. And since this book is set in present day NY this character could potentially encounter Leonid.
