Sometimes it snows in April
Tracy died soon after a long fought civil war,
Just after I'd wiped away his last tear
I guess he's better off than he was before,
A whole lot better off than the fools he left here
I used to cry for Tracy because he was my only friend
Those kind of cars don't pass you every day
I used to cry for Tracy because I wanted to see him again,
But sometimes sometimes life ain't always the way
Sometimes it snows in April
Sometimes I feel so bad, so bad
Sometimes I wish life was never ending,
And all good things, they say, never last
Springtime was always my favorite time of year,
A time for lovers holding hands in the rain
Now springtime only reminds me of Tracy's tears
Always cry for love, never cry for pain
He used to say so strong unafraid to die
Unafraid of the death that left me hypnotized
No, staring at his picture I realized
No one could cry the way my Tracy cried
Sometimes it snows in April
Sometimes I feel so bad
Sometimes, sometimes I wish that life was never ending,
And all good things, they say, never last
I often dream of heaven and I know that Tracy's there
I know that he has found another friend
Maybe he's found the answer to all the April snow
Maybe one day I'll see my Tracy again

Sometimes it snows in April
Sometimes I feel so bad, so bad
Sometimes I wish that life was never ending,
But all good things, they say, never last
All good things that say, never last
And love, it isn't love until it's past

2016 continues to suck big time. Just got an alert on my phone that Guy Hamilton who directed four James Bond films, including my favorite, Goldfinger, passed away today at 93. ****!
-
I just read on twitter that Patton Oswalt's wife, Michelle McNemera passed away at age 46. This week has been nasty.

2016 has been a bad year for the celebrity.

They have a 7 year old daughter. This is so tragic. How does one even go on being a "funny man" for a living after that?
This year is the worst.
RIP Sweet Prince.
Indeed and it's just the 4th month of the year. :(

But Gene Wilder did. Though I don't think he had any children.

Congolese music legend Papa Wemba died today after collapsing on stage. He was 66 years old.

The music industry takes yet another hit: Billy Paul, famous for "Me and Mrs. Jones" died at 81. This is too freaking much.

Though not known of outside the state, I thought she deserves to be here anyway:
Lizette Parker, the trailblazing mayor of Teaneck, N.J., died Sunday. She was 44.
In 2014, Parker became the first African-American woman in Bergen County to serve as mayor .
She had served on the township council of Teaneck, one of New Jersey’s most diverse communities, since 2006.
Too young and with so much potential. RIP

He made infidelity romantic.
At least he lived a long life. The last thing I remember by him was something like 20 years ago in the 90s, a duet with fellow TSOP recording artist Jean Carn:

2016 sucks. Today, I had to make the decision to have my cat, Mr Man, put to sleep, due to failing kidneys. He wasn't a celebrity; just a really cool cat and my "little buddy." He was a shelter cat, so, if you or anyone you know is looking to get a pet, consider going to a rescue shelter first. They are some truly amazing animals and they rescue you, more than you do them.

Sorry to hear about that. Still, you'll always have your memories of the fun times spent with your pet.
