Marvel Owns the Rights to Elizabeth up to New Mutants annual number 2. We've had discussions on this topic only a couple pages back. She just can't be called Psylocke or look East asian.
Exactly. Betsy has a lot of history even before her X-Men appearances and for fans of the original Betsy, this would be perfect because it would ignore all the body swap and ninja stuff. Since she was a spy and agent, she could still be a martial arts fighter, although that might make her too much like Black Widow, but the telepathy ought to make her different enough.
Not a bad start, seeing Soule wants to carry on with the "Psylocke, the major league telepath" theme. The plot is very compelling and the butterfly-corrupted-into-spider scene was such a highlight.
Can't quite say I enjoyed the Fantomex and Gambit/Rogue drama, while the blatant disregard for continuity in Angel and Beast's case threw me off(I guess we'll have to wait and see for that last). But I'm very on board for now.
BTW,did any of you peeps accidentally get banned, too?

I'm so confused on Angel's status anyway.

To give the devil his due,it's mostly Bunn's fault for not properly addressing the issue in UXM.
Apparently, when memory-wiped Angel merged with the Archangel drone, the event helped restore his original personality. He wasn't the man he used to be,but he would get there in Psylocke's own words. When she scanned his mind in the Apocalypse Wars story, she discovered lingering traces of Apocalypse's influence,so that would explain why Warren is struggling with control once again, according to Soule.
However, the process definitely erased Warren's "Angel" form and he basically took on his Archangel form as seen in the X-Factor days until Sabretooth shattered his metallic wings. Now Warren has reverted to his Kyle/Yost and Remender X-Force form.

Thanks for explaining that! So much clearer than from reading Bunn's UXM.
Awesome issue! Really felt the sense of urgency. It got a liiiiittle repetitive, but, no one was listening! I was like ****ing listen to Betsy people, there. is. no. time!
Looking forward to the next issue. Really don't like the different artist per issue thing, but, hopefully it flows!

Not sure how I feel about that either, but we'll see.
Overall great issue. I was like "PLEASE LISTEN TO THE WOMAN WHO HAD THIS IDIOT IN HER HEAD!!!!!!!"
I still hate Fantdumbex and want him to die horribly.
what bothered me the most was the inconsistency with her hair. SOme panels it was black and others it was purple
So does her feat of contacting them from all across the globe simply a result of a telepathic bond with them or is Betsy a planetary level telepath in general? I've only read her in Xforce and bits from other runs, does she generally have that level of power??

Betsy is an omega-level mutant and an omega-level telepath. The contacting X-Men across the globe is a pretty standard feat now for the major psychics like Jean and Betsy and I'm pretty sure Xavier as well.
What does Betsy's Butterfly Effect do? Does it cause telepathic damage?

I'd like to think it was due to the lighting.
What does Betsy's Butterfly Effect do? Does it cause telepathic damage?
It used to be just for show. It's never been able to release those shrapnel-like projectiles that cause physical and mental damage before.
But it's not so unprecedented, seeing Jean used to create a Phoenix raptor with similar properties.
My thanks for the answer, Selene!
