Good luck. I think they got rid of most of them.
EDIT: Well at least the La Blue Girl characters are still on there, so maybe you could.
I will find a way.
At least the Yoma Ring is still there. That's way too valuable to not have in a game with Time Stop shenanigans.

We'll just add them again...

Okay, once the World Cup is over, we'll spend a few days getting new stuff added and confirming the new rules/criteria, and then we'll get this underway.
Being football (soccer) mad, I can't guarantee my availability during the World Cup - especially not when England are still in it.
-
*thinks about new people and things to add*
I wonder what the Elemental Unlock from Adventure Time would be worth? *ponders*
-
-
Okay, so it's England's last game today and the World Cup finishes tomorrow. On Monday, I'll get a thread started for adding new stuff to the draft list/store. Next weekend, we can finalise entrants. Maybe do the draft the weekend after that.
-
-
Sorry, got sidetracked.
Haven't forgotten about this. Will make some progress this weekend.
-
We should have asked "which Monday?" :p

So... I've been trying to think of ways to make this next league:
a) More manageable.
b) Less powerful.
c) Different from past leagues.
How does a "live action only" league sound to people?
MCU characters, DCEU characters, X-Men movie characters, past Marvel/DC movie characters, Buffy and Angel characters, Heroes characters, Doctor Who characters, Terminator characters, Supernatural characters, Power Rangers characters, Rambo, Rocky, John McClane etc etc.
And of course items; Infinity Stones, Mjolnir, Sonic Screwdriver, TARDIS, Power Ranger morphers and so forth.
-
The only problem with it I see is some people (me, for example) don't watch that much live action stuff so don't know that many people.
What is your feeling on stuff that was live action, but novels fleshed it out more? (I was originally thinking "a thing that was in both, like the Sword of Triton", but I figure I'll ask about "EU" style concepts too, since I'm bringing up alternatives)
Oh! And since Hentai is by definition comics or cartoons, that will mess with Shakerbob's plans. :D

I appreciate that. However, in all fairness, I've RAN and participated in several of these things without knowing anything about things like anime or, for a more topical example, hentai.
I think live action stuff is far more "mainstream" than all of the above, so if people like myself have managed to cope in leagues full of anime characters (and were expected to deal with a team full of hentai characters), I think most people will be able to cope in a league of just live action characters (surely everyone's seen an abundance of live action movies and television series - and it's not as if getting things like MCU or DCU feats isn't REALLY easy via youTube).
Here are just some of the things people will be able to draw from:
- MCU movies.
- MCU television shows.
- DCEU movies.
- The Arrowverse.
- X-Men movies.
- Past Marvel/DC movies (Raimi's Spider-Man, The Amazing Spider-Man, Blade, Fantastic Four/Fant4stic, Reeve/Routh Superman, Watchmen, Ghost Rider, Green Lantern, Dark Knight, Keaton Batman etc).
- Non-Marvel/DC comic book movies (Spawn, The Mask, Hellboy, The Crow etc).
- Every single horror movie ever made.
- Every single action movie ever made (Rambo, Die Hard, Mission Impossible, Bourne, Expendables etc).
- Star Wars.
- Star Trek.
- Lord of the Rings.
- Harry Potter.
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.
- Heroes.
- Doctor Who/Torchwood.
- The Walking Dead.
- The Terminator series.
- Supernatural.
- Charmed.
- Power Rangers.
Regarding expanded stuff - probably not. The idea isn't to overcomplicate things. Live action would mean live action only.
There hasn't been much feedback in general of late, so I think what I'll do is simply create a thread specifically for recruitment. If we get enough, we'll go ahead with it. If not, we won't.
But it definitely needs to be smaller in scale in SOME way, for my sanity.
-
I'd personally pass on live action only but then I have the specific team concept I want to build and I was a soft maybe any way.
Might force some creativity out of people though. Power Rangers and Super Sentai alone bring a bunch of exotic stuff to the table.
Also, the race for the Kabuto Zector for Hyper Clock Up blitz begins now.
-
Fair enough.
OH and Wrestling! There's a bunch of wrestlers on there.
*goes to see if he can find footage of the Undertaker's 30,000 ton TK Feat.*
-
Or I could do Live action video games like "Borg" or "Klingon"
Live Action books doesn't really make sense, but I can be creative. :-p
