That looks truly amazing (but I'm sure I've seen this somewhere before; just dunno where). In any case, looks like a definite buy.

Just found this book: Adventures of Herge. Is it good? Seems interesting.

The above is an excellent comic book. I put it on my wish list a couple of years ago and finally got it this year. It tells you about the life story of Herge and the origins of the various Tintin stories and characters. I would recommend this.

Thanks, just bought it. Am I correct that it is the same size as the Tintin books?

Yes, roughly the same as the individual volumes.

It seems that Jeremiah Omnibus 1 is being reprinted:

That's good news, hopefully Vol. 4 won't be far behind since it's been a while since volume 3 was published

Holy crap!?!? I'd long written this off as something I'd never own.

i was reminiscing a couple of days ago about my first comic books. in the early nineties, when i was a small kid, we didn't have American comics here in Azerbaijan, or maybe some people did - where i grew up we didn't, i only knew about Mickey Mouse, Donald, Conan, etc. from cartoons. my first comics were actually Swedish (which i found out much much later, on the Internet) - Lars Mortimer's Bobo. i remember vividly the first issue:

well, its Russian translation to be precise:

apparently, Bobo was some kind of bear. or troll. i'm not sure and the pictures didn't make it any clearer :) i do remember this first issue vividly after all these years, the cucumber sandwiches Bobo used to love, the spyglass that transported him wherever he looked through it...
why am i even posting this and in this thread specifically? i don't really know. i guess i wish there was some collected edition of this comic in a language i know. i'd definitely buy it to keep my childhood with me as long as possible in as many forms as possible.

Will anyone be buying the recent Tex Willer comic by Joe Kubert?

Hey EuroCollectors, I have a question.
I am mainly a US-Comic collector, but I have a couple of books that are in the same size like typical Euro Comics. Because of their size, they of course dont fit in ordinary Bags and Boards and I wanted to ask, what you guys are using ;)

I have bags in larger sizes but I don't know if these are sold in the US, I usually get them from local webshops (such as this one).
Well I started on the second cycle of The Third Testament and based on that I would definitely recommend getting that first volume (for just $10) from Titan Comics I mentioned above. I'm sure I will!! Furthermore check out these:
- Genetiks
- Chimpansee Complex
- Siegfried
- The Killer
- Blacksad
- Tardi books from Fantagraphics (esp. WW1 books)
- Okko
- Peter Pan (Loisel)
- A Bag of Marbles
- Incal
- District 14
- The Fantastic Voyage of Lady Rozenbilt
- Milan K.
- etc. etc.
The Killer (US publisher was Archaia) is fantastic and it is that book that has got me wanting to read more European comics.
