Those were his insecurities and fears because he knew that Storm loved yukio and it was mutual. He on some level felt threatened by that. It happens to a lot of straight people. They erroneously fear that when they date a bisexual person they won't stay monogamous. Bp is old school. His insecurities had nothing to do with Storm's fidility. The point is he overcame them and saw that despite Storm's love and attraction to Yukio Storm had married him.
To be honest, though, its still an assumption to see anything sexual in that scan between Ororo and Yukio. I think some people want Storm to be bi and they try and fit anything they see into that reality. That's the thing about it, its all about assumptions and wishful thinking on this aspect of Ororo with some of her fanbase.
That said, have you ever watched "Charmed" on television? If you look at that show, those sister witches are always stroking each other's hair and faces trying to console one another, etc. They have the same parents, too, and they are 100% straight. The same logic can be applied to the Storm/Yukio thing in the scan as well. Also, Kitty is definitely straight, yet she has her arm draped across Ororo. Again, its a reach to say there is anything between Ororo and Yukio beyond friendship in that scan.
I think T'challa was just shocked to see Storm in that setting with those people sprawled out like that. She tends to be much more modest than that and prefers more modest settings.
"kitty is definitely straight" best joke in this thread.
(Storm being modest is a good one, too)

Wait, now you're trying to claim Kitty is not straight? Is there anybody you guys think is straight?
Storm has always been modest when it comes to certain kinds of attention. For instance, in the Aussie years, when the girls went out on the town for a night, people were looking at her and checking her out because she's beautiful. She didn't really get it and it made her feel uncomfortable when her fellow teammates explained to her what was going on. She doesn't like that kind of attention which would make that scan wierd and out-of-character for her if some form of mental manipulation were not involved.

You are mistaking modesty with not understanding why others were attracted to her. That made her uncomfortablebut it didn't involve much of any behavior change. She still rocked the dress.
I don't doubt that kitty is straight but her relationship with Rachel with Xian during Mekanix showed kitty wasn't narrow. There are other instances too. Things are not black and white and Storm wanting to spend the rest of her life with Yukio should give you pause. That type of relationship isn't family. It's something else.

Um, that scan implies that all the X-Men are having an orgy. It's in the dialogue, too. This isn't friendly lolling about here. Peter is apparently penetrating Kitty Pryde.
Storm isn't modest, she's free with her body and thinks nudity is no big deal.
No because it was a separate universe and Storm and Namor were married. Last time I heckled having sex with the man you married isn't cheating especially when the other marriage never existed.
It was still 616 the telepaths were confined cause they saw through the deception. That chunk of reality was changed but it stopped at the wall. Additionally humble and modest are not words that describe Storm.

It doesn't change the fact that it was another reality with a different history where Ororo and T'challa never met. If she had come back and continued being with Namor then you could say she had an affair. I agree with the rest of what you said except for the humble part.

I suppose one can only take one revelation per day but yeah, Claremont meant for Kitty to be Bi which upset John Byrne since he based her on a girl her knew.
Basically every girl Claremont writes is bi, it's a trope of his
Ambiguously Gay: Mystique/Destiny, Karma, Northstar
Surely it's more "Every woman is bisexual"?
And a few of the men. His novelization for the third X-Men movie has Iceman practically melting (no pun intended) over Angel.
Northstar's homosexuality was introduced by John Byrne in Alpha Flight and Karma's by other writers during Claremont's absence from the X-books; he did use them in stories of his own, though. As Claremont wrote them, Mystique and Destiny were an unambiguously lesbian couple (his plan to reveal them as Nightcrawler's parents, with Mystique as the biological father was nixed by his editors), it was other writers who introduced heterosexual relationships into Mystique's biography. Since at the time of Claremont's first run homosexuality could not be addressed openly and he does have a predilection to write about close friendships as well as strong female characters who are not defined by their romantic relationships, people who like to see Les Yay and Foe Yay everywhere have a field day with his stories. Thus one critic in the mid-1980s read rather squicky subtexts into the relationships between young teenagers Kitty Pryde and Rogue and their mentors/surrogate mothers Storm and Mystique (overlooking the much more obvious and probably intentional lesbian undertones to the friendship between Storm and Yukio).
It may be "squicky" to the reviewer but it was fine for many people reading it that way.
Getting Crap Past the Radar: Famously refers to Destiny as Mystique's "leman" near the end of his most well-known run — yes, that means "lover."
So he was good at veiling situations.
Okay so all we've got is Yukio Storm. I guess that's a wrap.

I think what they were saying was 'squicky' was reading that subtext into kitty/storm and rogue/mystique (their 'mother' figures) which would be squeezed squicky, not storm/yuriko itself.

I mean she's modest is some regards. Of all the X-Woman, I'd say she's the slowest to bond with somebody in such a way that she would be comfortable going to bed with them. Orgies would be way out-of-character for her. The only reason she was acting way out-of-character here was because of Psycho-Man's influence. Nudity does not equal promiscious where Storm is concerned.
A lot of you are forgetting one key factor in sexual orientation. It is up to the individual to claim which preference they are (or aren't). I'm quite appalled that a few members of the LGBTQ-whatever community are ignorant of this. No one but you tells you that you are gay/bi/etc.
As such, without a scan of Storm claiming she is bi, it isn't canon (likewise, it's not canon that she's strictly heterosexual).
Storm, however, is a fictional character (like, duh?) and cannot decide these things for herself. Previous writers' intentions can only go so far and, in the comic book world, "facts" are whisked away left and right.
So...basically...both sides are seeing what they want to see.
