I should have spent that money on a box of Life cereal instead
If we had a ratings system, you'd get tonnes.

I've been hearing great things, and it looks awesome.

The movie is definitely worth watching. It never takes itself too serious, but it is not as campy as you might imagine. To be honest, I was quite surprised, and I think most are praising it because it really does a good job into translating the franchise for a new audience. I have only positive things to say about it.

I'll give it a shot. I remember that, after seeing the trailer in cinema, I thought it was for Chronicle 2.

It has a Chronicle vibe. A sort of Breakfast Club with superpowers. But in a good sense.
When in Rome
A fun romcom movie. One of the few where I can actually root for the main leads.
Air Force One
Another 48 Hours
Apollo 13
I'm still dizzy from the dramatic swings in quality.
Yes, I'm watching my movie library in alphabetical order.

I saw Gold, directed by Stephen Gaghan. Based in part on an actual gold mining scandal, it's set in the 1980s and stars Matthew McConaughey as Kenny Wells, CEO of a gold mining company who's hit hard times, and joins forces with the likewise unlucky gold prospector Acosta and finds the mother lode in the jungle of Kalimantan, Indonesia. They really managed to make McConnaughey look positively sleazy in this film, with the greasy hair, the balding forehead, crooked teeth, and especially the beergut, which he apparently achieved by adopting a diet of fast food. He's highly unsympathetic as protagonist, which is exactly the point; it's yet another excellent performance McConnaughey can put on his resume. For a 2-hour movie that mostly deals with eighties' corporate business shenanigans, time really flew by, and in a good way. Édgar Ramírez and Bryce Dallas Howard were perfectly fine in their supporting roles. The '80s setting was conveyed convincingly through the fashion and the soundtrack-- done much better than in X-Men: Apocalypse for example.
BATMAN BEGINS
It's a great start to one of the best film trilogies, I love it, I'm happy it exists.
THE DARK KNIGHT
A superb sequel, an improvement to a great film, still plays the right strings with my emotions.
Zootropolis - Finally got around tow watching it - lots of fun and great writing - 9 out of 10
Trainwreck - Amy Schumer always a riot and great supporting cast (Bill Hader, Tilda Swinton , Brie Larson, John Cena (!!) 7.5 out of 10.
Assassin's Creed 6/10
I thought it was entertaining. Good story, action scenes were pretty cool.
I know a lot of people didn't like it and gave it a much lower score, but I think I liked it better because I never played the game and so I based my rating on the movie alone, rather than comparing it to the video game.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
Great. I think it's a great movie, and I'm happy they made it.
