Im not complaining at all - but super strange that DC would go back in time to release a 100 Bullets Brother Lono Deluxe Hardcover - just out of the blue.
This completes a hardcover line that has been out of print for years - as its the same make and model as those OOP HCs.
The 100 Bullets Deluxe HCs look way better and are far more re-able than the ridiculously oversized unwieldy omnis that released a few years back.
Very glad to complete the set. 100 Bullets is easily one of the best comics of all time - not much out there has ever topped it or ever will.

I'm very happy with it. Got the hardcovers.
What are the chances we'll see a Jack Cole Plastic Man omnibus? It's my favorite golden age hero and the Archive editions (two decades on, now) leave something to be desired in the reproduction department (they're also incomplete).
As much as I absolutely want the DC VS. MARVEL OMNIBUS, I think I'd really rather have Green Lantern by Grant Morrison Omnibus that DC curiously isn't releasing. What is the ridiculous delay on this.

Definitely on my short list of most wanted DC omnis.
I'm very confused about the number of semi-recent, good selling titles that seem like great omnibus candidates that are just . . . not happening. Morrison's GL, Snyder's non-Capullo Batman, King's Batman (whether you like it or not, it sold well, and he's a big name to put on an omnibus), Bendis's Superman (see previous), Rucka's (second run on) WW, etc.
Honestly, I ventured into this subforum to see if there was any news on a The Green Lantern omnibus - I'm glad it's not just me baffled that there hasn't been one!

I'm really hoping the contents of Superman Triangle Omnibus get revised. Right now there is a gap between it and Exile and between it and Death and Return omnis. In a perfect world we would get 2 Man of Steel omnis first, then pick up immediately post Exile before closing the gap to Death and Return.
Glad to see Flash by Waid 2 announced.

My guess* is that the Triangle v1 contents is locked and we'll get a Triangle Omnibus v2 that runs up to Death of in 2025, and then if those both sell well, they'll go back and (1) re-release Exile and (2) fill in the gap between Exile and Triangle - it'd be a smaller omnibus, but I think that's workable.
*Given that we're talking about DC, the first guess should be they'll orphan this omnibus, the second guess should be that they'll fill in the gap using a different collection format (e.g. tbp or normal sized HC) and the third guess should be the one I suggested.

There's also 3 annuals during the Triangle vol 1 time frame that should be added. All 3 are Armageddon 2001 related.
Both the Triangle Superman Omni and Flash by Waid vol.2 are day of release buys for me.
DC is slowly getting that initial post Crisis Flash run consecutively collected in Omni.

Don’t forget that the short run by Morrison and Millar got a hardcover reprint next month. Covering issues #130-141 of Wally’s run. I suspect we’ll get a third volume of Waid’s run for his return to the title after Morrison and Millar left and before Johns’ run starts.

Looks like we are getting a Tomasi Green Lantern Corps omni vol 2 as well, with some gaps between issues 47 and 59, which is strange....also doesn't include the ION mini unfortuantely

Superman Exile is getting reprinted.
Does anyone think or at least know if DC will reprint the Justice League bronze age omnibus volume 1? I have two and three and just can't seem to find a copy. Thank you for any replies.

ETA: saw a new printing of Waid's first volume of Brave and the Bold, but that was the only thing that popped out to me. Wouldn't surprise me if they're about done

170 books announced there - and not one of them is Sandman Mystery Theater Compendium Vol 2.
SMT is better than at least 90% of the stuff in that catalogue, easy.
Just finish the run please.
DC is dead to me.

DC recently released "Birds of Prey: Progeny" after originally missing it (its book 4 of Gail Simone's run of #56–90, 92–108)
Seeing as the online solicits for these books seem to nearly always be wrong here are what the Birds of Prey TPB's actually collect

Kind of tempted to pick up my first Absolute. After switching from trades I've pretty much exclusively gone with omnibus but with some stories like Kingdom Come or Doomsday Clock not available in omnibus format it would be nice to be able to read them in a nice format again (ignoring that my bookshelves are too small for absolutes for a minute ;)). Do you guys who get them find them worth it?

I've gotten the Absolutes for books like Kingdom Come, All Star Superman, and New Frontier. I've also gotten them for my top creators like Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman. But that's for books where the art justifies the larger size and I want all of the extra material. I did pass on the smaller books like Killing Joke or anything collected in an available omnibus.

I have a few and enjoy them. Certainly, Doomsday Clock (12 issues!) or Kingdom Come will look gorgeous in that format. I think Kingdom Come has a fair amount of back matter to enhance the experience. The books are pretty large (obviously), but if you're used to the heft of omnibii, you should be good.
Regarding space, I just bought a couple bookends and put my Absolutes on top of the bookcase and let them hold themselves up.

DC Omnibus and Absolute Editions Reprint Poll 2024:
https://bit.ly/3w9XkJ9
1 Absolute Top 10
2 League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Omnibus
3 Swamp Thing: The Bronze Age Omnibus
4 Absolute JLA/Avengers: The Collector's Edition
5 Authority Omnibus
Just one solitary reprint for me:
Absolute JLA/Avengers: The Collector's Edition
1. Absolute JLA/Avengers
2. Absolute Authority
2. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
4. House of Mystery: Bronze Age Vol 2
5. Orion by Walt Simonson
I didn't really have a 5th choice. I only picked Orion so Walt can get an extra royalty check.
Nothing I really need or want on the reprint list. I'm pretty well set on that stuff. Can't wait for the new omnibus lists, though - just off the top of my head, I can name 20-ish omnis I want.
Pre-Ordered:
DC Versus Marvel Omnibus
and
DC Versus Marvel: the Amalgam Age Omnibus
