Are you referring to the Pasko run that began with ybe new Saga of the Swamp Thing #1? Its pretty meh. Its extremely wordy and overall boring. It gets really good around issue #13,14 and there's a really solid issue in there (I forget the number. It might be #16?) But its mostly a mess. Nothing terrible. But its definitely one of the weakest turns of ST. And yes. Even behind Wheeler and Nancy A. Collins run that was post Veitch.
This is pretty accurate but I wouldn’t have been so brutal. LOL. Also, I believe the stories after issue 13 and before the restart don’t count anymore. Although technically speaking I’m not sure any of it counts since the new 52.
On a side note it’s been more than a decade since I read Collins and Wheeler but I don’t recall the Wheeler stuff being too, too bad. But again, it’s been a long time.

Swamp Thing is like Marvel's Daredevil. It's amazing how many good runs there are out there by a wide variety of different creative teams during different decades.

Wheeler gets a lot of hate, but its not as bad as people make it seem. It has a lot of really interesting ideas and concepts, but it goes on for far too long.
And yes, I'm pretty sure most of that isn't cannon anymore since the N52, a part Collins was annoyed about, because they retconned Lady Jane (even though she was killed in Millars Run anyway.

Hellblazer as well. The Vertigo run. Not all the crap that's followed.

I have to admit I haven’t read it, but I’ve read the Azarello/Corben book, Original Sins, and a Milligan book where he gets married, all good but the Azarello book is the one I’ve read most.

If you haven't read the Ennis run, then drop what you're doing and go get it!

100% agreed!

Huh! A deep dive into Vertigo sounds perfect! I had a Preacher Christmas once, looks like a Hellblazer Thanksgiving. Is that the run he gets Cancer? I’ve read 4 volumes of his Punisher, Preacher, War Tales, 1 volume of Hitman, and The Boys. I am surprised and disturbed by how much Ennis I’ve actually read!!!! Preacher was way above and beyond good!

yeah the cancer story is actually his first arc and just the setup for the rest of his run.

The Swamp Thing Omni is awesome. It will precede my ST Moore bind well, where I added DC Pres 85 The Jungle Line since DC felt that wasn't Vertigo enough for them despite Vertigo not existing for any of Moore's run.

That issue MUST be included in any Moore ST collection!
On a side note, I ordered Absolute Authority, Hellboy in Hell and JLI omnibus today from IST and they again bumped my free shipping to fed-ex so I'm hoping to have those bad boys here by Thursday.

Anyone already have BATMAN FLASH BUTTON DELUXE INTERNATIONAL EDITION HC? If anyone can provide some pictures will be greatly appreciated.

Finally got my ST omni. Any questions?

No questions, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love some pics... :)

Where do I go after Moore SotST?
