An issue or so later either Tim or Dick asked about where he'd been and he said he'd tell them and DC promised a story but I don't think it was ever revealed.
I think they did eventually reveal it, in No Man's Land. If memory serves, he was setting up a series of mini-Batcaves in various places around Gotham, so he could re-supply and hide out without having to go all the way back to Wayne Manor. They were used during NML and... never again, I think? ;)

I do remember that. I didn't realize the two were related. Thanks.

Does anyone thing the omission of the TOC might have been a mistake in that something went wrong at the printer's or someone missed the bus. I mean ...surely they're not that fucking incompetent.

Not too crazy, honestly. Off the top of my head, to bring up similar books, the Death and Return of Superman Omnibus and the Spiderman Clone Saga Omnibus don't have tables of contents either.
I think they SHOULD, but for some reason none of these do.
-
Yes, that's their biggest problem, the lack of table of contents.

I didn't realize that with Death of Superman. I have it and read it awhile back. I'll never own the Clone Saga.
Either way, yes, those both should have a TOC.

Most of these were already known a while ago. Glad to see them officially confirmed. I still have no idea what's up with a Darksied War omnibus. I thought for sure it would change as an Absolute, or maybe even contain more issues. Even so, it would contain less than 20 issues of content. Making it a tiny Omni. Oh well.
As I've said before, very excited for the Swamp Thing omni, collecting Saga of the Swamp Thing from Paskos run, and the comic adaptation of the film, for the first time ever. Stephanie Brown Batgirl is a must grab as well.
-
I'm glad that DC is starting to go the Deluxe Edition route. But I don't understand why all of the Batman books are in Deluxe format except for All Star batman.

All-Star started a couple months after the others and is only shipping once a month; they seem to be taking their time with the Deluxe editions, so I'm sure they'll get to it in time.

Whoa! Holy crap! I just realized that Swamp Thing is soliciting more than just the original series but also the second volume all the way up to the Alan Moore run. Wow! Maybe that means .... :)
