No, I was just joking. I didn't think people would believe any of it for more than a split second. I posted it before reading the list of titles DC had actually announced. :p
You certainly fooled me LOL. Well done!

Even though the solicits were fake, with an actual Superwoman title announced, and the ending of 'Super League' changing Lois's life I do think that Lois will get superpowers and star in Superwoman.
Except she'll get a much better writer.
Sacred, you know I love ya,brother and I certainly hope you are right that they aren't going to kill off Prefp Supes...but I gotta disagree with you on the bolded. The version of Post-Crisis Superman that existed the last few years prior to FLASHPOINT? Perhaps. However, I never got that feeling from the character from 1986-2001-ish, I.E. most of his run. For the most part that guy DID enjoy his gifts and enjoyed being Superman. I ought to know since I've read the character for 20 plus years.
EDIT: Well....it seems the Superwoman solicit is fake....so I guess we will have to see what it really is about.
With the "bringing everything back" thing, I wonder if SUPERWOMAN is actually could be a title staring Linda Danvers/Matrix while SUPERGIRL still follows Kara? hmmmm
I kinda hope the Super Man Luthor Azzarello thing happens though....
The Jurgens Superman to me preferred to be normal. And not in the really lame was that the immediate pre-Flahspoint era prevailed in that he bemoaned his lot, but just in the fact this was the height of the "Clark is the man, Superman is the mask" thing. Clark is who he is, Superman is what I can do. All that stuff. And while I vehemently disagree with the mindset, that's how he was written back then and I never had nor have a problem to this day with how Jurgens wrote it. He was, in his mind, human. And I don't see him having in the slightest a hard time adapting if he could not be that anymore. He had Lois, he had his family. And insofar as his heritage, this is when Krypton was the cold, desolate, unfeeling place. It makes sense why he had no particular affinity toward it. Cold and sterile is not Superman. So again, I don't mean to make it out that I was taking a shot at the character, I just feel that this is an endgame for him that he would be perfectly comfortable with. Outside of course the natural frustrations that would occur over having to have other heroes do the lifting for the big threats.

Haha, now I wish I had posted all the fake solicits I had planned. If Bleeding Cool had reported on all of it, things would have gotten messy very quickly.
what? bleeding cool published it http://www.bleedingcool.com/2016/02/18/details-on-superwoman-and-the-super-man-for-dc-comics-rebirth-with-the-actual-dc-comics-1-list-from-comicspro/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
Just googled to here - yes, an old friend took those details and e-mailed them to me as a prank. Fell for it hook line and sinker. Apologies.

Those were all fake?
WAHT A TWIST.
I thought they sounded not so bad, heh.

If it is Lois, I hope so. not the best premise, but a good writer can make it work

Well, I'm kind of relieved to be in the dark again about what's up with the new REBIRTH titles. I suspect Lois could still be Superwoman, but I guess it's unclear and will remain so until we get more official information.

I agree. If anything it would be a fun 6-12 issue limited series with the right writer.

Yeah, it makes a lot of sense. I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

These things happen.
I find your site reliable most of the time, but this will be ammunition for the people that are constantly berating you in the comment section.

But I respect your disagreement, thank you for being cool as always, and not for instance telling me I'm full of crap or tell me to go screw myself, lol.
Thanks for the clarification, and from that standpoint I see what you mean and sort of agree. The way you worded it prior sounds like you were completely slagging off the entire Post-Crisis version of Superman as the ineffectual navel gazing whiner we got the last few years of the pre 2011 era. As much as I've changed my opinion of the way the 86 revamp took place (I think it was largely a mistake in the long term), I still think that period from just after EXILE to right after FALL OF METROPOLIS was some of the best Superman stories in the history of the character and we would only be so lucky to see that kind of consistant quality again.

the joker lives within ina XD
anyway most sad about the trinity, it means the end of superwonder, and i have this really biased (yes, i recon it as a bias) view about batman in a team book

I believe lois will be superwoman (unless is a reformed earth 3) because of the solicit of superman 52, that was added the line saying that loislane life would change. If it is lois I wish there was some sort of build up the character instead of ignore her for months.

It doesn't exactly look promising but at the same time nothing outright stating Superman and Wonder Woman are no more. The loss of the title isn't a good sign, and really is a blow to me as it was one of my favorites and I just don't feel a Trinity title compensates for its loss in theory, but nothing saying just yet that they'll be done insofar as being in a relationship. I just guess with today's landscape and who's popular, that it was just a matter of time before it was mandated that Superman and Wonder Woman couldn't have something for themselves without Batman being involved somehow.
