Thanks! Yes, I love the homemade too. Don't really like the bought types which all taste the same to me.

That is a delicious salad! I love it with a zesty lemon dressing.

Fish Sticks, I don't have any tartar sauce, but I've got some mayo and some ketchup. Also half of a chef salad with ranch dressing.

Yuck, I'm getting so sick of fish sticks. I have them because their cheap and easy. Doesn't mean I don't cook but they are one of my go to "break foods" when i don't want to cook. As of now, nothing special. I'm eating Cheez-Its.

I've tried adding fresh minced ginger to homemade chicken noodle soup, but it comes out like hard sand; tastes great and smells great, but that texture is off-putting. I tried boiling it first for an hour and added the water it boiled in plus the ginger itself to the soup, but the taste vanished and it still had some bits that were like sand.
Anyone have any suggestions for keeping the taste and smell while making it soft?

You can try grating it. You can also peel the skin but you lose some of the flavor.

Nothing fancy. French bread pizza.

Matzo Brie with maple syrup.

I'm taking turkey necks out of the freezer. Maybe I'll have green beans or something with it?
