Because if you're savvy enough about Marvel you know that characters, especially of a brand they're pushing, don't stay in their own books and eventually start to appear elsewhere. And if they're making a big deal about it and making it a fact that she's the smartest person in the MU, she's going to end up in other books as well. If you really think ignoring things makes them go away in comics, you haven't been reading a shared universe very long.

Then bitch about it once she appears in other comics where she's declared the smartest person in the world. For right now, it's a story arc in her own book. Get back to me when she upstages Doom in Infamous Iron Man.
