I may check out GFT 101 if its a jump on point. Tried it before but it didnt stick. With Shand writing i may be more invested.
Gotta get back into Wonderland at some point too...
Putting on my editor hat here... I'm currently line editor on Wonderland as well, and there are two solid entry points. In July, we're doing GRIMM FAIRY TALES VS. WONDERLAND, a four issue series that is friendly to folks who haven't read either book.
And then, in August, we've got the beginning of my favorite Wonderland arc we've ever done. The series begins a new story with Wonderland #26, debuting our new ongoing team -- writer Erica J. Heflin, artist Vincenzo Riccardi, colorist Ben Sawyer, and letterer Jim Campbell. I've been such a fan of Erica's writing for so long, so I'm stoked that I was finally able to get her on this book.
But I came to clarify something here. The word "reboot" is scary -- as a comic book lover, I know that. I can promise that "Grimm Fairy Tales" is not doing what "reboot" implies. I'm writing the series as of #101, and it is emphatically not a reboot. Everything that happens matters. Ralph and Joe just wanted to emphasize that what we're doing is a new story arc with a new jumping on point. It's not a redo, it's just a completely different take on the series, and I hope you'll give it a chance.
Again, thanks!
Thanks for clarifying that!
Hey all!
First, thanks so much for the kind words everybody. I'm obviously super invested in Robyn Hood and her story, so I'm so thankful that you guys seem to be digging it. The first volume had two fill in artists, but I'm happy to say that now Larry Watts, my favorite artist working, has been the ongoing Robyn Hood artist since the second volume, and we're about to start up an ongoing series together! It's in Previews now, and I hope y'all give me some love.

Always love to hear from the writers in these sort of situations to really help clear things up for us readers. Cant tell you how excited I am for the upcoming issues of GFT to see how this all wraps up and moves forward with #101. Thank you for clarifying this all for us and keep us posted on any future news you can tip us off on.

I'd like to say that Patrickshand is probably one of the nicest comic book writers I've come into contact with via social media....he happily answers any intriguing questions i may have for him and shockingly offered to send me the second volume of robyn hood for free if i wasn't satisfied with the first volume
most comic book writers out there who bother to use social media don't interact with fans all that much so it's cool to find one that not only interacts with the fans but does whatever he can to make sure they aren't letdown in anyway
it's disappointing when this guy will probably go unnoticed by the majority of comic book readers while people that are complete jerks and arrogant tools get noticed just because they work for marvel or dc

Its really strange, I find that most indie writers will have nice chats with me on facebook or twitter, and some artists as well. But yes Pat has always gotten back to be about Robyn and Charmed. It makes me excited to read them.

Guess Zenescope is lucky to have a guy like Patrick

Yep! He has enough talent to work anywhere I am sure! But he seems to love working for Zenescope. And in my personal experience, everytime I go to the Zene panels or booths at cons, all the staff members have been nothing by kind to me, and very helpful!

The Work Space At Zenescope Must Be Amazing

Odd how you go from trashing Zenescope here and on GameFAQs to doing nothing but praise them in the span of a week. Without having ever read one of their books no less.
Is Aspen next?

Aspen Isn't Next For Anything....they don't really have any ongoing and anything they do have doesn't typically last all that long

People still use GameFAQs?
People still use GameFAQs?
Executive Assistant Assassins is ongoing. And both Fathom and Soulfire have been consistently put out as various minis for almost 20 years now...

Wait he was bashing Zenescope on gameFAQs? I am wondering for two reasons. One, why did he change his mind and two, where do you talk about comics on gamefaqs lol?
