The artist said James Proudstar would be on the second part, probably with X-Force, so some characters were moved to fit their more iconic team.
I expect Rusty, Skids, Rictor, Leech, Artie and Wiz Kid to be together. Tabitha, either with them or X-Force.

Cannonball, Meltdown, Bedlam, Warpath, and Domino? oh yes.
This reminds me,... we need more Bedlam.

This is very static. They look like they are posing rather than fighthing.

Yeah, I don’t know what happened but Lee’s art hasn’t been the same in ages. It used to be so dynamic and full of life, but now it’s this static repetition of awkward poses.
Even the perspective is off. Deathstroke and Donna don’t look like they belong on the same scene at all.

certain parts of this looks good, but some parts kinda feel unfinished.

Are we sure that this is legit? It kinda looks like someone got a hold of an unfinished Jim Lee pencil pin-up then finished it themselves. I thought it was fan art when I first saw it yesterday. It just doesn't really look like Jim Lee's work. IDK.

He posted it on his Instagram. The Amalgam cover looks better and he showed work-in-progress pics of it. I do think this one here does seem off, like people are looking in different places and some of the action that should be connected seems broken.

Yeah I just saw that he himself shared the image and was going to come back and edit my post. The piece looks so weird and not like Jim Lee at all. There are parts here and there that do look very much like his work with Cyborg, Deathstroke and Batman. But most of it looks like someone trying to look like Lee. Maybe it's the coloring?

Jim Lee's art was never filled with movement to begin with...

Sure, but not like this. Look at Superman and Wonder Woman specifically. And the layout just doesn't flow. They all look like they are in different battles or something. It's really strange.

Not Jim's best work but still good.

my best guess is out of practice...

Just simply the greatest X-Men artist of all time... and greatest comic book artist of all time. There are some great Wolverine artists out there then there's Jim Lee's Wolverine... untouchable.

looks like some of the characters are reused from his previous works, especially Superman, Batman, and Wolvie
