Really good issue again. This book is sooooo good.
Still not sure how I feel about Terrra, but at least she isn't a villain, more like Deathstroke's foil.
So is Joey bi? Pan? A closeted gay dude? I need answers.

I'm pretty sure he answers that question in this issue. He doesn't like being defined by the sex of the people he loves.
Another great issue. Wish it was still biweekly. Joey is a great leader. Slade is still Slade but I love the team and dynamics.

He's bi, or rather he just loves who he loves.

I'm with you - I'm so hooked on the current storyline, and wish we had only two weeks to wait. :) But I will take the month long wait if we have artistic consistency.
How is it possible to pack so much into a standard size issue.
We got some nice development for Jericho, I would say instead of bi, he could be pan as well, I can totally see him dating a humanoid alien since he's all about it's what my heart wants, and not gender, and no labels etc.
And it seems we can possibly ...maybe cross off Adeline as a possible suspect in Etienne's murder.
Terra being an escort isn't a negative to me, escorts to other people might just be high end hookers, but there are some escorts that don't do anything sexual they are just paid dates, and considering the business card Terra had said escort bodyguard, it seems she may pose as a sexy girlfriend or a hot piece of ass but she'll be protecting these individuals who paid for her "services", that's pretty cool to me, I don't need an extra twist to it tbh.
Also while more questions are being raised about this hmong girl and this outlier storyline, I'm glad to see that it's moving ever so closer to the forefront with her having the same business card Terra does as well as having the same sword as Rose does now.
Also after Slade eventually returns back to his old ways can Defiance continue to still be a thing, maybe kick Adeline to side and kind of go rogue, I know Wally will eventually leave but you can replace him with like Kon-el or somebody else, and then there's Terra who maybe wouldn't mind sticking around despite having worked for Adeline.
It's be great to see a team Deathstroke trained be a thorn in his side in the future and we can have some fun seeing them one up each other.
Issue #13 shows a flashback of Joey in his classic Jericho look and it reestablishes that he was in fact, well, Jericho. Now, I don't know if that necessarily means that he was in the Titans, but I don't know who else he'd be "fighting crime" with if it wasn't with the Titans.
Anyway, I didn't read LC. Can someone post the scan of Wally remembering Joey?
He could want to fight crime by himself and be a teen superhero and not be on a team unless you're using an actual quote.
This issue had Joey basically saying that as soon as he got abilities his mom wanted to use him so she could have put the teen superhero idea into his head as well so he could have been working with his mom.
Plus, there is Dr. Ikon who eventually became a Canadian superhero but before that was essentially working for his dad, who knows how much influence Isherwood had on young Joey, that could be who Joey meant (if you're quoting him), he could have become a sidekick.
The titans doesn't have to be the reason why Jericho is Jericho and was in his old costume, Priest has never hinted that as the case either.

I wasn't sure whether or not to read that as him being closeted about it, or him being pan. Pan seems better fitting for how he explained it on panel.
Pansexual also kind of make sense given his power.

Fair enough. But there's also other instances of stuff that just contradicts Abnett's Titans Hunt continuity. For example, the very fact that Terra (either the original or the clone) is even here and has a history with both Slade and Rose, which would seem to boggle the mind if Judas Contract and Rose's time with the Titans never happened. Rose herself also makes mention of her taking on the name Ravager to please her father, which seems to be a reference to this moment from Teen Titans #8 from Johns's run on the title:

And furthermore, Slade himself references Rose's OYL look: the "two swords" comment.
All of that stuff couldn't have happened within the whole Abnett Titans Hunt continuity. If the Titans disappeared and were forgotten, that precludes Rose ever staying with them or being a member. It also means that she really had no opportunity to become Ravager to please Slade, as Johns's entire Teen Titans run should never have happened. It also means Terra shouldn't even exist, let alone know both Slade and Rose. So, yeah, their continuities would seem to contradict each other.
Priest's Deathstroke is currently DC's best book, and I don't even think it's close. Art is consistently enjoyable, the dialogue is tight and entertaining, the many plots are all very interesting, and not to mention Priest is taking characters I never cared about to new places and actually making me care about them. I never cared even a bit about Joseph or Tanya, but I can't help worry about them from issue to issue. Joseph especially, the poor guy just can't catch a break.

It is amazing how much better Wally and Tanya are here than they ever were in Titans. I do hope Joey catches a break soon. Andbringbackthefro.

The problem you're having is that you're trying to fit pieces into their original framework when that no longer exists. I mean, one of the early issues of N52 Stormwatch had Alan Scott's lantern appear in storage, but JSA Alan never existed in the New 52! (And I very, very much doubt that Rebirth Alan will have to go and get his lantern back from the notAuthority)
Or, to pick a more recent example, after Superman Reborn changed Kal's history to merge the N52 and Pre-Flashpoint continuities, two issues of Action were mostly devoted to flashbacks explaining, in summary form, the new continuity. One of the more minor examples was the attached montage of some of the costumes he wore. We're focusing for the purposes of this exercise on the black and red costume, furthest back.
Now, the original story had him wearing that costume because he'd been brainwashed by the (still in the form of a pizza cutter) Eradicator into becoming a "perfect Kryptonian" (in the sense of the Byrne, Vulcan-esque Krypton). Ma & Pa Kent were instrumental in bringing him back to his senses, and he threw the Eradicator into the Sun (after which, it came back as a humanoid, but we don't need to go there for now).
But in the Reborn continuity, Ma & Pa Kent were long dead by the point Clark became Superman, and Krypton wasn't the Byrne Krypton, it was (more or less) the Johns Krypton from Superman: Secret Origin. Some people did wear that sort of look, but Krypton as a whole wasn't that emotionless place. And the Eradicator's original backstory can't possibly have happened either (for reasons too long to go into), even before you consider that it got an entirely new backstory in the first arc of the Rebirth Superman (which had it never be a pizza cutter), a story that ended with it being buried on the Moon... where Cyborg Superman retrieved him from on the very next page, and so which was presumably still in continuity - both because of that, and because they generally went out their way to minimise changes to the what had happened in the current series. But that also involved the Eradicator coming to Earth for the very first time, yet flashbacks to Reign of the Supermen had him in his original role there...but not Superboy/Kon-El, who was apparently deleted...
If you lost track somewhere in the middle of all that, I'm not surprised. The basic point is that just because some event from a pre-Rebirth, let alone pre-N52, comic is referenced doesn't mean that it can possibly have happened in its original context. The Occam's Razor version of events is that Jericho and Terra were never Titans at all, Rose became Ravager some time after the Titans Hunt Titans had been forgotten and wielded dual swords in the process, and just because Terra and Rose knew (and disliked) each other doesn't mean they had to do so in the context of stories no longer in continuity. A few pieces does not a complete jigsaw make.

You realize that's why I'm saying the continuities contradict each other, right? Priest is treating it like those things still happened, when they cant possibly have happened in the Titans Hunt continuity. Now, will continuity restructure itself after Doomsday Clock to reincorporate those things? Maybe. We have yet to see.

Rose having two swords, calling herself Ravager and being acquainted with a girl named Terra does not suggest she is a Titan. No more then Vic Stone calling himself Cyborg and having his appearances and abilities suggests to us that he is the character Cyborg (Vic Stone) of the Titans franchise (he's not). If this was the old Judas Contract continuity, Terra would be dead. And would have died before Deathstroke ever found Rose and she found her way to the Titans. Titans isn't actually the only place Rose and Jericho could have physically been superheroes. In fact, most Titans were superheroes in their own right already.
Terra and Rose knowing each other, if anything is a reference to their early New52 partnership in the Superboy solo. And I don't think that actually happened in the same exact form anymore either.
Wow, Priest peppered in a lot of story here. Good character moments for Jericho and Rose was great as usual. Slade already showing that he's getting tired of his new life. Gonna be interesting to see how Priest handles The Society. They make it sound like a super villain mafia. You're not out until you die. Wonder who they could possibly send to intimidate Slade. It would have to be someone like Black Adam.
There's so much going on but I really want to see the return of The Red Lion and Isherwood "Grundy".
