Good lords bird on Hulu(By way of Showtime or Starz i forget which one i have both through Hulu)
I've never been a huge Ethan Hawke fan. Never thought he wasn't a good actor but he also never jumped out at me. Training day is one of my favorite movie and he's easily replaceable in that film. That movie lived and died by Denzels performance.
Anyway hes great as John Brown. Really enjoyed his performance.

It's probably going to get worse again.
It's going to take another good 1-2 years for the pandemic to stop screwing with releases.
This and other platforms have terrible months ahead with missed deadlines or cancelled shows (RIP Glow :()
Took up Cobra Kai. Made it through Episode 7 of Season 1 before losing interest in the middle of Episode 8. Fun concept, but its upcoming "twists and turns" are pretty obvious.
Basically re-watching How I Met Your Mother, with episodes of Queen's Gambit in between.
Tried to watch the Dusk to Dawn series. Absolute piece of crap. Slow, bad actors (really bad actors), dumb. What else to say?
Watched both Christmas Chronicle movies.
Catching up on old (SPD, Time Force) and new (Beast Morphers, Dino Charge) Power Rangers tv shows.
Watching Containment .
Not terrible. Pretty heavy on the prime time drama but the story is interesting.
Word is that Hilda season 2 is dropping a week from today. So that's what I'll be watching. Not bingeing. I'm gonna make it last through the holidays.
Ip Man 1 and 2.
Mank.
It was a good period piece.
I just finished watching the "Stranger". It's another dramatization of Harlan Coben's novel. I tend to like British productions, they know how to do edgy without resorting to cheap shocks. Very grown up treatment. I enjoyed it a lot. I'm onto Vallhalla, an Icelandic crime drama, but I am not sure if I will stick with it as I find the protagonist annoying.
Started Titans on HBO Max. Heard first season is okay and second sucks. Not sure if I should put in the time to watch? Any advice?
So I got really bored and went ahead and finished up Cobra Kai. My original thoughts still stand, its pretty predictable and dull. But its certainly still entertaining. I almost lost it when Stingray popped up from the leaves. Those who are watching it will know what I am talking about.
