Hmmm. That really sucks! I wish I knew this earlier, than I hadn't bought and read it :(

Speeding through all of the Fables Deluxe editions. I love this series!

haven't read v1 yet but this pissed me off quite a bit. Just as much as the cancellation of SMT (#neverforgetSMT)

Nah. If it's true I'll drop the series and probably drop the deluxes from DC completely untill a series is completed in deluxe.

Uncanny Xmen Marvel Masterworks vol 1. First time reading any Xmen comic.
-
Reading some Tomb of Dracula and silver age Green Lantern mostly. I did recently read the first half of Criminal and Black Hammer. Both were very good. Criminal is just plain awesome.
-
Just started Akira vol 1.

Currently reading Busiek's Avengers Omnibus volume 2. I read the first Omnibus integrated with Busiek's Iron man Omnibus and now I'm nearing the end. Just started on the Kang Dynasty and that looks to be an epic ride.

Claremont's X-men is a great introduction to the team if you like older comics. Although I must confess there are a couple of filler's in it I wasn't too crazy about (like two issues of Wolverine vs Wendigo). Also wise move to skip the silver age issues.

I don’t mind older comics at all and am just getting into Marvel. Wish I would have bought the omni’s instead of the Masterworks.

Masterworks are very good quality books and they are ahead of the omnibus releases so you only loose on the oversized art (and some money cause they cost more).

I want to read some of the silver age material at some point as I have read nothing from that era. It seems the type of thing to read on digital. I have never heard anything really positive about this era.

it's just kind of run of the mill compared to other titles that were doing stuff no one seen before in comics.
