A solid little story. I liked it a lot, so I'm really looking forward to Uncanny. The art was excellent as expected.
Yes, exactly. Sometimes I wonder if she's just too powerful and writers need a way to take her out of the fight, plus there's the added drama of the instability of Rogue's mental health when she...
It's a solid little story. I get bored easily without Gambit or Rogue and this Jubes story had me interested, so I think we're in for a treat with this series. Art was beautiful as expected.
If ever they make a new Gambit solo book or mini, I would love to see him as the artist. He's great.
Carlos Gomez, I think? Say what you will about the story, the art was great.
Rogue did look like she was in distress, so she's definitely reliving Genosha and/or Gyrich's memories, I would think. I hope it plays into something that's coming up. I was disappointed to see her...
Crazy thought: Jubes and Roberto were captured; what if they were brought to Sinister and they happen to see that Sinister snatched the bodies of fallen mutants? This would be presuming that they...
Always buy first, rationalize later.
When it comes to DC, Batman is where my knowledge lies, so not sure about the death of Superman angle (I actually thought Remy's death scene was a vague reference to La Pietà, LOL).
Gambit and Rogue figures are nearly impossible to find in stores, from my experience. Ordering online is the best way to find any.
[Edit] I did a quick reread of Rogue's role in Fatal Attractions...
Thanks, that theory was fun, but it was pre-episode 8, so I'm not so sure that it's valid or even possible anymore. After Episode 8, I've kind of become a pessimist overnight. *le sigh*
So, if we...
Not sure if this was brought up before: I wonder if they'll rebuild the mansion.
Oh good point re: Wolverine getting his skeleton ripped out...if it happens, of course. This show isn't pulling any punches, so that is a distinct possibility.
Scott's relationship dramas? Kind of...
Yeah, I was wondering the same thing.
Ugh. I'm afraid of what will happen with Rogue when she finds out Magneto is alive. If there's a split in the team, some with Magneto, others with Xavier, I'm afraid she'll side with Mags. I live in...
Yes to all of this. Well said.
I hope you're right. There weren't any breadcrumbs in this episode that I could see. I'm still hoping for an Apocalypse/Horsemen cliffhanger at the end of the season at the very least.
As for this...
I did like how Nightcrawler is acting like a caring brother to Rogue, but there was nothing for Gambit or Rogue fans.
Rogue looked like a Disney princess waiting for Prince Charming to arrive, but...
Yes, 100%, but he was 50% of the reason I was watching this show. If Rogue leaves, there goes the other 50%. Without them, it's just another superhero show to me. They're running on XTAS nostalgia...
Would those happen to be dead mutants-turned-Prime Sentinels? Asking for a Cajun friend. ;)
Since this is the Rogue thread, I won't wade into this too deep, but I want to say that I totally agree re: writers having trouble portraying Gambit as dangerous as he actually is. The beauty of the...
Well, that's interesting. Not sure in what direction she'll go. Lose more control? Only to gain more control later? I don't want her power set messed with too much: limited control of her absorption...
I'm not ready to take any theory off the table. They have a huge sandbox to play in, so you never know what thread they'll pull. That said, I would prefer the green blasts be kill shots, if only to...
Another reason why I hated the Fox movies.
Yeah, agreed. Why heroes, other than her direct relations, would want to attend this is just baffling.
Yeah, and Mystique has worked for Apocalypse in XTAS and has ties to Sinister as well, so she could easily have a role in this. I was surprised to see Sinister working with Bastion too, Apocalypse...
