How is there not a thread about this book yet? The art is great, the story has some cool concepts and I'm looking forward to where it goes.

Just finished Usagi Yojimbo Saga book 1. Now on to book 2.
Just had my birthday and one of the gifts I received was the first 6 volumes of the Usagi Yojimbo Saga. Just finished the first one last night and gotta say I'm loving it. I missed (skipped) out...
I've been loving this series! I hadn't read a spider book since OMD and it's done a great job of giving me enough info to get pulled into the story, while not weighing it down at all.
Hopefully...
You can do up and submit to Shadowline. Jim Valentino's division of Image. There are specific submission guidelines that you must follow or Jim won't even look at your submission, because if you...
I've been excited for this book since I first heard about. Not where I can pick it up at the moment, but it's waiting for me in my pullbox.
I'm not sure about how this is going to play out based on the teasers we've been given so far. But I can see this turning into something like the New 52 Batman continuity issue. Where they have...
This looks great. The art reminds me very much of Mike Oeming. My only concern about jumping on any new #1 and new starting book is what's going to happen to it after Secret Wars? Is the book...
I really like the fact that they both have a good cause to visit if they lose. It's not a money thing, but reaching out to children that really need a boost. Much respect for both men.
Oh yeah. My 11 year old loves it. It's a little over my 5 year olds interest level right now, she way into My Little Pony. But we're all enjoying it. Even my wife who doesn't even read comics has...
I would really recommend picking up the 5 Weapons series. It was really good. The only thing I would say is be ready for the ending to wrap up quickly and nicely but that was because the decision...
Love the Preview Jimmie! Can't wait to get another cool series from you.
Heck yeah I'm getting this. I've loved everything Jay has done. But I have missed him writing a superhero team. Copperhead is fantastic, and this looks like it's going to be good too. Can't wait!
Can't wait to pick my copy up this weekend. Loved everything Alex and Riley have done together.
Really looking forward to another book by the team behind Proof! Have loved Riley's style forever, and Alex has always been a great writer so having something new from them is going to be fantastic.
This was a truly unique and great issue! Hope a lot of people pick it up, and go back and pick up the rest of the series. As far as I know nothing like this issue has ever been done.
Jimmie said that the book was cancelled due to lack of sales. He had it plotted out to last another 5 issues, telling the whole story. The ending in issue 10 is not the intended ending.
I've read several articles about this, and I know I'm behind the times on this one. But I had a thought.
We all should know that the anniversary of D-Day happened around the time these covers...
This looks interesting. I'll have to check it out and see if it's age appropriate for my daughter too. She's a budding comic collector.
Jay's been hinting at this and at least one more book he's got in the works. Looking forward to it. But anything by Jay is an automatic buy for me.
Just one....hmmm.
Mice Templar.
To me some series that deserve much more attention because they art was/is fantastic, the story are well structured and they are just fun to read, but you never hear/heard about them before:
Out...
DEAD@17: THE BLASPHEMY THRONE #1 (of 7)
WAYWARD #1
CHEW #43
DRUMHELLAR #8
EAST OF WEST #15
MANIFEST DESTINY #9
MICE TEMPLAR IV: LEGEND #13
PETER PANZERFAUST #21
RAT QUEENS #8
SAGA #22
Couple of issues out now....what do you guys think of the new arc?
Always looking for new comics to pick up.
Just looked it up on Amazon...sounds like an interesting premise. I'll check it out when I get back home the end of June.
Thanks for the info! :D
