What doesn’t make sense?
It's that old 90s sales tactic.
Also, I have a feeling all ya'll who hate this weren't there for the trauma that was The Draco. You think this is convoluted? Yeesh.
That is the point I am trying to make. It's incredible when this movie stars a man who beat his girlfriend, and yet Jennifer Lawrence is more offensive to fanboys.
These are all valid complaints and I agree with some. But others in this thread are bringing up other roles in her career and talking as if to discount what an actually huge actress she is. X-men may...
Jennifer Lawrence is an Academy Award winning actress. Among many other awards and nominations. She is the most bankable and successful actress working today.
How many films has RDJr drawn in 300...
Has anyone ever been as maligned on this board as Jennifer Lawrence? Alright, if people are unhappy with her Mystique in these movies, I get discussing that, but what does the rest of her career have...
Absolutely. The consensus has been that Sophie, Tye and Kodi were all among the strongest parts of the film, and if this movie simply acts as a segue from the old to the new, it's done it's job.

I would see it 10 more times just for the mall scene. I need wide eyed foreign exchange student Kurt.

UGH I need the mall scene!!!
Since we know New Mutants is going to take place in the 90s, they should hang back in the 80s a bit with the new team. I want to see them become the X-Men, and grow as a team, not just jump 10 years...
Those very people have been complaining about the movie since it was announced so who cares what they think?
I see what you're saying and agree to an extent, but if they were going the mother route I would maybe expect a little less 'get the hell away from me'.
Also, I really wish they had played that...
....Yes? To me at least. With movies that have a 10 year gap in story, it's a way to fill in holes. And with the new introductions, it would have been nice to have some backstory to read. The Xmen...
Oh this brings back memories. I remember Marvel cards, specifically X-Men cards, were so huge when I was in elementary school. My parents wouldn't buy me them, because I was a girl, so I stole them...
Is it related to the film, though, or is it just cashing in on the name 'Apocalypse' to grab some moviegoers?
Like, I remember for X2, they had backstory comics for a few of the characters....
A bit of an off topic question, were there any tie in comics released for this movie?
My only revision here is pull Nightcrawler from New Mutants, pull Colossus from Deadpool, bring in Captain Britain, Meggan, Rachel and reintro Kitty and MFING EXCALIBUR MOVIE PLEASE.
I kind of got the feeling that they don't intend to ever discuss that. From the way she treated him, they were strangers and I think that's it. It bugs me :(
This was my biggest disappointment, and with the way she treated him, I kind of doubt they ever intend to go into it :(
I think it can be literally any Iron Man as long as it's called Iron Man. Going by CA:CW, comic accuracy is pretty low on the list of must haves.
It's because you don't have Iron Man in you.
Probably not as much as Civil War.
Yeah, because Marvel doesn't own the rights.

I missed it, did you prefer Civil War?
