- Captain America Lives! (Nov 2021)
- Fantastic Four by Jonathan Hickman Vol. 1 (Nov 2021)
- The Might Thor Vol. 1 (Dec 2021)
- Wolverine and the X-Men by Jason Aaron (Dec 2021)
Don't worry, George Pérez was definitely equal opportunity when it came to showcasing idealised bodies :D

It was fine, they did a pretty good job of catering for people not reading all the titles. You'd get a quick recap of anything you needed to know, and they'd break any larger stories down into...
Lee
Conway

Even discounting Vertigo, definitely the 90s.
Dixon
O'Neil

Fairly sure these new cheap Masterworks are meant to fill this role.
Safe. Or to phrase it another way, dull.
Always interested in anything Morrison puts out. Looking forward to seeing what he comes up with.
I use this as an indicator of when I should drop a book. If I can't remember what happened last issue, it's gone.
When Marvel and DC start reliably producing books of consistent quality then I'll start pre-ordering again. Until then I'll wait and purchase on a case by case basis once I've seen actual photos of...
Thanks for this Rikdad, always enjoyed your writings on Morrison's works. While I wouldn't put this series down as anywhere near his best, it's been an interesting ride.
The exact quality of the bindings on new releases vary somewhat, but yes, they're consistently inferior to older printings.

Completely given up on buying any new stuff, but spending more than ever on back issues and collections.
Amazon US had a restock, £60 including shipping. Now just need to wait and see in what condition it makes it over the Atlantic
I miss the days when a zillion people didn't know Batman even existed. Far better as an urban legend spoken of by criminals only in hushed whispers.
Ultimate Spidey v1. Meh, should have sold mine when I had the chance.
Me too. Held on hoping Amazon would fulfil my cheap pre-order. Should have just grabbed it from elsewhere, it's not like I wouldn't have been able to re-sell a second copy.
Has Norman been de-aged or is it just the art? Took me a couple of (confusing) pages to realise it wasn't Harry.
You don't *need* to read anything beforehand, but you'll get a lot more out of it if you're familiar with the characters and their history. Most of the appeal is seeing alternate versions of familiar...
If it's classic confidence trickster Constantine, then him. If it's modern, Dr Strange, shooting lasers out his hands Constantine, then I'll go with Zatanna.
It reminds me of Morning Glories. This is not a good thing.
Awesome, thanks for the heads up. Now just need PAD Hulk 2 and Lucifer 2 to appear.
