(Pretty much anything by Adam Hughes!)
Amazon has the second Marvel Star Wars Omnibus for $48 (down from $125!) right now!
Thanks for the input, Bala and Jake. My main sticking point on X-Statix is that I really don't care for Allred's art. I can "appreciate" it, but I don't find it at all appealing. However I have...
My LCS just put some more omnibuses on the half price table so I picked up Lee & Kirby FF Vols. 1 & 2. They didn't have Oz or the Thor one that was mentioned here recently but maybe they will come...
I haven't bought monthlies in about 5 or 6 years. When they started going up to $3.99 each was my breaking point. But I had also gotten tired of bagging and boarding and stuffing them in the...
I just consider how attached I am. Does it have sentimental value, am I going to reread (or at least look through) it again?
Sometimes I make the wrong decision. At one point I sold off most of...
Chronological.
Agreed. The jerky GA is a modern take; I first remember noticing it in Joe Kelly's JLA run, and I hated it. Wasn't the same character at all.

I don't have or expect kids but a good book is a good book and I have even been known to read children's novels on occasion. Plus I always appreciate great art and I like what I've seen. If my LCS...
Even though it doesn't present the complete Hobgoblin saga, it does have a feeling of closure at the end. As if it was an ending but leaving some things open for possible futures, the way serial...
Daredevil by Miller
FF by Byrne #2
Howard the Duck
Iron Man by Michelinie #1
Man-Thing
Amazing Spider-Man by Lee & Ditko #1
Spider-Man by Stern
Werewolf by Night
Non-Marvel:
Hmm, I'd be interested in the Thor and maybe Oz. Already have Howard, Michelinie Iron Man, and Stern Spidey.
Same here. I've held on to a few that I was super-nostalgic about (stuff I had when I was a kid, where the newsprint feel (and smell!) is important), but mostly they go right up for sale.
Agreed--I love the way the Miller omnibuses look! I actually don't like the homogeneous look of most of the other books, especially if they don't even have the character/series logo on the spine...
Would love to see Abnett & Lanning's Legion collected.

World's Finest Comics #249
I was more of a Marvel fan in my youth so I only ever had a handful of these "Dollar Comics" format books, but lately I've been picking them up as I come across...
Just got the Werewolf by Night omnibus. Never read any of these before but I am a big fan of Doug Moench and am very keen on 70s Marvel right now, particularly the "other side" of Marvel.
Well I certainly wouldn't buy everything even if I could afford it. I guess you could say nostalgia drives most of my purchases, and I'm mainly interested in stuff from my personal "golden age"...
I just finished the Howard the Duck Omnibus. I dismissed Howard's comic as a funny animal book when I was a kid, but lately I've developed a strong interest in 1970s Marvel (especially the weirder...
Just picked up the Man-Thing Omnibus. Pricey but looks like fun.
Fantastic Four: The Overthrow of Doom (FF #192-200)
Despite the "anniversary issue", a pretty weak period for the FF. The four have settled into boring, formulaic roles by this point. Alicia is...
I sell single issues on eBay or Atomic Avenue. Collected editions, if they don't sell and I'm ready to clear them out, go to the library. There aren't any used book stores around here any more,...
Howard the Duck Omnibus
X-Men Omnibus 2
Hulk: Heart of the Atom
Captain America: War and Remembrance (though I've read most of what's in it)
Spider-Man: Original Clone Saga
Starman Omnibus 5&6...
