Congrats, Jack!
I'm sorry, but Coates wasn't nuanced. He was a sledgehammer. He very obviously made Wakanda a stand in for colonization and had them repeat the Atlantic Passage. And then he had long winded,...
Thank you. I love the Trickster God's stipulation/curse. Very satisfying incentive for her behavior. Maybe you should pitch a Zanda mini. They might go for it since they seem to enjoy focusing on...
Power Creep should be a character that makes fun of the power creep has gotten out of hand with some characters. The character just keeps getting more powers throughout each encounter until they win....
That would be me. Like Blue Falcon and Dynomutt, but only a periphery mech, not a constant companion. And not comedic. More of a primitive AI techo jungle druid type dropping simple wisdom once in...
The original Guardians of the Galaxy. Especially Yondu.
Clandestiny
There is the possibility Shuri will be BP in the ultimate run with T'Challa being the younger sibling. Which is not something I care to read.
Achebe is such a great character. I am always surprised no one has brought him back.
Ridley should go insert himself into himself.
Princess Ariel and Ookla the Mok. Where's Thundarr? When's the reboot?
Ass-guardian. Lol
Someone else who read Peake. Nice.
Aside from a well deserved slapping down of Doom or Namor, who do you want to see him throw fists with? Not necessarily a victory for T'Challa, but a single issue one-off type thing, resolved in any...
Coates deserved worse. I held my tongue after a while. He tried to be McGregor and failed miserably. He and editorial opened the door for Ridley. Coates is the person who was tone deaf to the...
I have always liked the idea of KotD. It has just not been implemented well. Mostly a bunch of ghosts badgering T'Challa. If one of the writers of World of Wakanda? Used it as a plot device in a...
I knew you didn't want to spoil the book. My sarcasm never makes for good posts. Apologies. I've only been on this board since AvX and my bitterness to the continual deconstruction of T'Challa...
Spoil it? Ridley's already done that.
Yes. The story is usually called Theseus and the Minataur, not the Athenian who went to Crete. Or better yet, the Odyssey, not Return to Ithaca.
Aww. C'mon. I really like Talon from the 90's GoTG. At least until they turned him into a feral Wolvie clone. I have always loathed Wolvie.
I wonder what the general public's reaction would be to his dying in comics. My gut tells me it would be the "it's just a mantle" mantra I'm so sick of hearing.
And she also said she would pick up where Ridley is leaving off. So, unless issue #15 reinstates T'Challa as a citizen of Wakanda, it is most likely only a BP comic in title. Coupled with her...
I'm not blasting her. But for the hour or so of the interview there were more statements and questions about Wakanda, Storm, Tosin, and mysticism/spiritualism each than there was about T'Challa.
I just watched Eve Ewings interview again and get no T'Challa vibes at all. Not from her or the people conducting the interview.
I'm 100% convinced she'll reference T'Challa while exploring Wakanda.
Ouch. Give us a link. Beer $ or whatever.
