Felicia mentions that it's been 5 years since her and Peter were a couple. Felicia and Peter called right...
I understand the merits of moving forward and not dwelling on the past and I've heard the arguments for why BND did what it did....however in retrospect I think the ability of readers to enjoy BND...
She seemed to know and the explanation she gives in her letter to Peter only works if she was in on the planning of the murder. She was also there during the murder...taking pictures.
I know you like to give the benefit of the doubt, but I think it's fair to be apprehensive when it's been ten issues since she found out. I'm not asking for a long page full of her thoughts balloon...
We did have issues of Ghost Peter freaking out.
We don't even have Anna saying "The man I love is dead??"
Felicia still had no problem being a part of a plan that involved murder.
For a long time I've had issues with how emotionally stable Anna Maria seems to be.
Most people go to pieces when they find out the love of their life is dead. As far as Anna knows, Otto is dead....
Felicia did frame Spider-Man for murder in the 80's because she was mad at him for saving her from Sabertooth. A man is dead because of Felicia. She came back from that in the 90's, so anything is...
I'd like to be on a Spider-Man podcast one day.....but I'm too shy
Harry having that level of fame always bothered me. The first BND issue where Mia is trying to get into his "entourage"...that's not Harry. Harry always blended in at school and other places.
The...
Interesting thread.
I've often pondered and discussed the fame of Mary Jane with friends. It changes based on whatever the need of the particular story is, just as the fame/wealth of the Osborn's...
The first reference to Peter's age is issue 8 where we find out he's a senior. I maintain that Stan did not intend him to be 15 in the early adventures, and it was a retcon of later writers.
He did one in Daredevil during the Bendis run.
I haven't read the whole thread so forgive me if this was addressed....
...but I think Peter and Gwen would've broken up had she lived. They were never on solid ground and neither trusted the other.
I agree. I meant that there is precedent for her to act this way, although I would argue that she should be past it. Same thing with her stealing. She had grown past it, but one could argue that...
Felicia framed Peter for murder in the 80's to teach him a lesson about helping people who haven't asked for help. A man died because of this.
The implication in the story was that her real identity got outed. Although it wasn't outright stated. That's the assumption Slott and Twitter guy seemed to be working under.
When Felicia was...
A fan asked Slott this on Twitter....
Slott replies...
I actually remember Mark G giving Felicia a SECOND secret identity because she couldn't be anonymous as Felicia Hardy due to her...
Interview was done via e-mail. The questions were all typed before she answered them. It wasn't done in "real time"

My respect for her has gone up by about a million points.
When her run came out it angered me, but she brought up many good points...
FINALLY!!!
That was one of my complaints about "Darkest Hours". Ghost Peter was around when Flash turned back into Venom yet he had NO REACTION to the news. I know there was other stuff going on,...
Mary Jane being in the dark about the brain swap was not far fetched.
She also needed to leave Peter alone and stop breaking up with him every few months in "Superior".
Crawlspace has been around for years and produces content on a consistent basis.
there, try to twist that one spies!
Dr. Kafka's death scene didn't sit right with me.
This was the woman who would try to find humanity with monsters such as Carnage and Shriek. In "Superior Spider-Man" she degradingly described...
I was going to post a panel by panel comparison of the breakfast scene in ASM 400 and LTC to try to come up with a funny no prize for how both are in continuity so how...but I forgot we can't post...
