If they can't even give Superman a proper budget then how ass is The Authority going to look (if that movie is even still happening)?

Wasn't it reported that it has a 200+ budget?
Maybe, but I doubt they actually wanted it to look cheap.
Looks very cheap. Like something from a CW show.
Cap and Thunderbolts are total flops, but FF and Blade can go either way. And even if everything flops, they still have the X-Men. DC on the other hand? They've killed/damaged almost every franchise...
I doubt they'll bench JL forever. It's their most recognizable property after Batman and Superman.
Sounds like Cheetah-mite has better showings in this book than Cheetah herself :p
Cheetah-mite?

DCEU fans are something else...
The last time DCEU had a successful movie was in 2019...MCU can definitely afford a couple of flops, especially since their next movie is a guaranteed money-maker.
Hawkman:
-Gardner Fox
-Tony Isabella
-Timothy Truman/John Ostrander
-Geoff Johns
-Robert Venditti

Things that I specifically want to see in a WW series:
- Clay origin
- The ending of Gods and Mortals
- The OG colonialist Barbara Minerva
- Fun Etta
- Julia and Vanessa done right
- Mindi...
I want something in the vein of X-Men 97: adaptations of old and new stories mixed up together, mostly drawing from Perez, Marston, Rucka, Jimenez and Simone.
The Omega title gets thrown around so casually, it feels like anyone can be declared one these days. Personally I prefer for her to just be a good telepath, not one of the best. She has other skills...
God Loves, Man Kills is one of the few major Claremont stories they haven't touched yet, so it's probably coming in season 2.
Her powers really went off the rails in that solo of hers :p
I don’t know, I guess they could still reveal her to be Mystique, but I think it makes more sense narratively for Val to just be Val.
It would be weird for her to be Mystique. She's been around so many telepaths, and the sentinels on Genosha didn't touch her.
Since Disney fired Beau DeMayo, WB can get him to write a WW series :p
Brave/reckless, free-spirited, passionate, hardcore, posh.
The anime industry is known for its hellish work conditions, so not exactly a good example.
Not authentic! Jean should've passed out halfway through :p
Cheetah (Barbara) shows up briefly in a group shot with the heroes:

Because they already have a tank (Rogue) and a telepath (Jean). Adding two more would be redundant. And Bishop is definitely no odder than Jubilee or Gambit.
Again, why? The original show adapted both old and contemporary stories, why should its sequel be restricted to one era? "97" is just a title and the only thing it indicates is that it's continuing...
