Adam Strange (digital, DC, 2004) #2...
I’m reading on DCUI, and right now I’m leaning towards Justice League (for JLDark; I won’t be reading Bendis League) and Swamp Thing.
During the 90s, Lobo was.
But he fell out of favor.
Now, I’m not sure.
True.
Before, a person would write a letter, and it may even get published.
But it would be published alongside many other letters that were not outraged so it could be seen in context.
Unless...
Queen Bee of Bialya.
Giffen and Maguire did an outstanding job of reinventing her as a ruthless, yet beautiful, ruler of a fictional country.
Her potential, unfortunately, was ignored by other...
I think the previous chapters showed that evil had corrupted so much that it had become part of human nature.
To me it seems that the evil was allowed to move about and influence humans that were...
I would say that Calendar Man is dated.
The problem with DC is that, unlike Marvel, they've rebooted characters and teams enough times that it takes a lot more than squinting to get them to fit together.
Hopefully, things will keep getting screwed up over and over to the point that it one day it will effect Batman so bad that something will need to be done.
As long as it doesn't effect him, it's not...
DC Comics I've read so far this month:
Adam Strange (2004) #1, 2
Aquaman (2016) #43
Arion, Lord of Atlantis #1, 2
Justice League Dark (2018) #1-6
Justice League Dark/Wonder Woman: The Witching...
Word is that global release should be by this summer.
I believe the tv shows they had on there before it became DCUI were the main reason it couldn’t go global.
It almost always seems to be the opposite for me.
I don’t think he would start dating her until after the switch was made.
So technically, he only dated Lance, but neither he nor Lance knew this at the time.
Until Lance is taken to see her dead...
I believe Bloodhound was acquired by Dan Jolley and taken to Dark Horse.
Except she predates Raven by almost two decades.
:(
Well, it would conveniently take him off the table to make room for Harpy.
Maybe he'll come back to at least make a guest appearance in the new book.
Literally the first Marvel comic that has excited me in a long time.
Really like the cast.
Red She-Hulk/Harpy looks to be a replacement for Gargoyle.
Whatever happened to him?
For me, it would be the latter half, from #92 until the end of the series.
It really dipped into the Rosemary’s Baby side of supernatural horror for a while, and the team kept a pretty strong...
I would suggest one of the following-
All-Star Comics #3 (for the very beginning)
Justice League of America #21 (and then the yearly JLA/JSA crossovers)
All-Star Comics #58 (series is revived...
It’s times like this where the DC characters would probably envy the pulp heroes that weren’t forced to exist outside their era.
There’s been attempts to modernize the pulp characters, but they...
I do agree, btw.
One of the reasons I really liked the JLA '91 mini-series is that while it may have been set on Earth-1, it could also easily fit on Earth-2 following the original run in All-Star...
Ironically, John Byrne also agreed to do Superman only if he could reboot him.
Which sorta relieved him from the position of having to address conflicting or contradictory continuity.
I'd recommend starting with a character (or team) or a creator and branch out from there.
About the JSA/Barry/Jay/Superman thing...
And pretty much everything else I could think of at the moment...
If Barry read the comic with Jay, but Jay wasn't from this Earth...
And Superman was...
I stopped reading when I realized that it sounded like someone trying to rationalize how Archie and the gang haven't aged in 80 years by applying real-world science.
Stop thinking so hard about...
