Clone Saga. Despite its flaws, it'll always be near and dear to my heart.
I found this issue enjoyable.
I loved the scene between Spider-UK and Indian Spider-Man. Great moment.
Until this point, Slott hasn't really spent much time on the ensemble cast. Also, having...
Is there a link for this?
Grant Morrison had the right idea, in so far as giving his Clark Kent that "Peter Parker" feeling.
The guy was late twenties, struggling to pay rent/making ends meat, Jimmy Olsen wasn't...
That Alan Davis, New Avengers cover. Gorgeous......and a little sad.
Spider-UK. :(
I think this looks great. Yeah, I can see why WW purist fan might be upset, but this is set 5 years prior, in a comic company that resets itself, and it's characters, every 10 years.
I'm sure...
I love me some Plastic Man. We need more of this guy, in the new 52. As long as DC doesn't mess with his character....
Another problem is they don't focus enough on Clark, and his supporting cast. It all happens in the Daily Planet.
Grant Morrison did it right, by making him slight Peter Parker esque, and having...
I think a lot of writers trip themselves before they start. He shouldn't be difficult, infact he should be easy to write. The fact some writers strggle, is possibly a reflection on this day and age....
Off the top of my head?
Injustice Gods Among Us
Red Son
Justice League: The Nail
Batman: Red Rain
Batman vs Alien
Really? Huh. I've always loved the "616" label, to our Marvel Universe. It's very much the Marvel style. We're not Earth 1, or Prime, but some number waaaay down the list.
Pretty sure six-arm Spidey is going to meet his end, in Spider-Man 2099 #6. :(
It's a multiverse. Clearly there's a universe where *a* person wears the same costume as LS Spidey.
The photography worked for Pete, when he was in college, but I'm glad Slott has embraced Pete's love for science, and progressed his adult career.
Great issue.
Watching our Pete chat with Ben Reilly? Gwen? Spider-Ham? Brilliant.
Judd Winick's Exiles.
Marvel, hands down.
Apart from Injustice, which I LOVE, there's really not much at DC that I find interesting. Especially since the New 52.
Prior to the reboot, I enjoyed anything from Geoff...
"Speed mind"? That's terrible writing.
Yes, we know Barry can think incredibly fast, but to call it "speed mind". Bleh.
I'm just amazed at the level of research done to show a list of all/most alternate Spider-Man/Woman/Zombie/Pig, etc.
I take my cap off to you, sir.
The Corps just needs the right creative team. I mean come on, it's the Nova/GL Corp, on a multiverse scale. The potential is awesome.
Hasn't the Captain Britain Corps been wiped out before? Ugh. I wish they'd stop destroying the better part of the characters lore.
Please let this be retconned soon.
Also, sucks to be...
I thought this was a given? Seeing as he's joining Marvel shortly, exclusively.
Yeah, it introduces "Billy" Braddock. New Captain Britain Corp recruit. Hailing from Earth 899. Fun little 8 page backup by Dan Slott.
I've never been much of a Captain Britain, shame on me for...
I wasn't fussed about the Ms. Marvel story, but the back up? I LOVE Spider-UK.
I never thought Spider-UK was going to work, but, WOW, what a surprise.
My new favourite alternate Spider-Man. :)
Personally, I want to see the following survive:
Six Arm Spidey
"Assassin" Spidey (Always loved him from that Wolverine vs Spidey 'What if?' years ago)
"Noir" Spidey
