I agree. I genuinely don't mind another retelling of WW's origin, but the way this one was done was... rushed. We didn't see nearly enough of Themyscira, we don't really know anything about it...

I enjoyed it. Sure, the plot wasn’t groundbreaking, they stuffed too many villains in, and Hippolyta’s conflict with Diana was forced and contrived to the former’s detriment, but at least this time...

What other reasons are there? They're both invulnerable so they won't have to worry about each other the way they have to worry about those pesky humans Lois and Steve and can be a "power couple"...

I don't necessarily see it that way. I certainly prefer a Diana who is a physically strong warrior while still capable of liking traditionally "womanly" things than the oftentimes extreme portrayal...
