It's...kind of like Stan Lee's WW? Has anyone seen a full frontal image yet?

I really enjoyed Roy Thomas's run, though admittedly, part of that is the amazing art by Gene Colan. I know some think Colan's work was too dark & moody for WW, but I loved it.

The art in FS: Immortal Wonder Woman was so gorgeous that I found it hard to be depressed.
It's interesting that he acknowledges that snapping Lord's neck, regardless of it being a defensive move, is a major traumatic event for the character and that she would understand that her...
When I was a kid, this was the first "Wonder Woman with a sword" I remember seeing:

When I started buying back issues, I found this:

And I love this Golden Age panel in...
Do we know yet if she'll still have the lasso? Or was the lasso destroyed at the end of Death Metal, essentially? I just realized that I haven't seen the lasso in any of the images post-Future State.
That poster is awesome! Especially the homage to WW #1!
I understand there's a WW84 Diana vs. Cheetah set and that there's an invisible plane, but beyond occasional inclusion with JLA sets, has there ever been a big WW Lego set? I would love a WW:...
I mean, I'm excited, but...
...her head? Her oddly oblong head?
That she's asking the avatar of the green if he can truly value plants over humans. And, of course, "vegetative injustice." But more than that weird phrase is the wrongness of the question.
It could be fun, but I think he'd basically end up being Steve Trevor with a whip and without the love angle.
I'm sure this isn't the only other mandate, but Gail was also not allowed to use Rucka's reimagining of the gods.
Beau Smith wrote a Wonder Woman/Xena crossover that the script was completed and paid for that was never actually drawn (except for some rough pages by Eduardo Barreto) or released because the TV...
Ah, that crappy moment. The one in which Diana somehow forgets that women were all she knew most of her life and that women made her great.
This is the first time that I've realized Diana's line...
But wasn't the point that she didn't have the necessary power unless she assumed the Ares' mantle, and that, in that power differential, she couldn't stop First Born from killing Ares and assuming...
Meredith Finch. Bless her heart.
Hm. Well, honestly, if the bi-monthly schedule has been an obstacle in getting a great WW title, then I'm not fussed at all. Thanks for the info!
April solicitations were released today, and we've only got one issue of the main title. Has it changed from bi-monthly to monthly, or is this just a blip?
So pretty, and a strong indication that Diana's voice will be right.
It's in the title. Them spoilers. You were warned!
But I'm not out to spoil everything. :)
Anyway...Superman/Wonder Woman
I was struck by how the dynamic was similar to the Soule & Tomasi...
I don't "vehemently" disagree, but I do think the review is full of hyperbole. Also, I wouldn't characterize it as "rude" as much as I'd characterize it as "mean-spirited." But that's the way to get...
Agh! Right. I was getting Carolyn Hamilton becoming Nubia in the WW & Bionic Woman mini-series mixed up with the Carolyn Hamilton of the TV show. Thank you for the correction!
Been awhile since this was updated. It look like Tamaki neither hurt nor helped much in October.

In spirit, it reminds me of this Frank Miller image from the 70s.
The original Nubia, along with Hippolyta, appeared in an issue of Supergirl, and a version of her appeared in the Super Friends comic book, but she wasn't used again, I don't think, until she was...
